I I was a little worried when my husband and I ordered take out of two, 2 piece dark meat dinner plates and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes since chicken takes a little while to cook and it was a Sunday after church service, but i was not disappointed!

I found uncle Rob’s restaurant through Google maps. I’ve been looking for a good soul food restaurant. I found one. The food was good, the service was pleasant though they need more waitstaff. It seems they were having a hard time the more people came in. All in all a good dining experience. I’d go there again. I forgot to take photos of my food ♀️

I was sooooooo disappointed about my plate. I got rice and gravy (it was soggy and bland) cabbage (bla d under-seasoned) green beans(only thing decent) and the worst mac and i ever bout at a fast food restaurant!! Chick fila mac is A+ in comparison and its FAST FOOD!! I had looked forward to this place based on some of the facebook reviews i seen….. So DO NOT waste your time! I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! ITS A FEW MINUTES DRIVE BUT GO TO KIMS CAFE ON GUILFORD COLLEGE RD! SHE MAKES REAL SOULFOOD!! I only gave stars because the service was good and the bathrooms were very clean.
