Nice facility. Clean and looked new. Service was fast and food arrived quickly, BUT after teo attempts, my wife’s order was still incorrect. The waitress insisted it was my wife’s fault! Manager brought us the bill, and a verbal apology, but no mention of accommodation for my wife’s eggs covered in cheese…which she didn’t adk for and couldn’t eat. Tell your staff to PAY ATTENTION when they take an order and not to be in such a hurry to just write down something and dash away

You can see how the reviews all say the same thing. This place is understaffed. It took 10 minutes to get seated and another 15 minutes to try and order. I say try because the one waiter was busy with all the tables and helping someone with a takeout order. We didn’t want to wait any longer, so we got up and left. Food here is usually good and consistent. It’s just the slow service that is the issue.

Got here at 2:30 on Sunday and poor service took forever for somebody to seat us. Then no waitress/waiter would take our order it was only my mom and I and one other couple in the whole restaurant and at least 5 workers just sitting. Gnats flying around. Just very poor. The waiter that did end up taking our order was not with it and lacked people skills

When I walked in with my family and parents there were just one other table which was occupied otherwise it was completely empty. We were asked to sit in a table which accommodates 6 people. But then with two kids and old parents of mine, it was congested and just the kids and my wife moved to the next table for 4. When the waitress came we informed her and ordered the food. The table where my kids and wife was sitting has a broken leg in the table which was shaking so much that the water kept on the table spilled off. So kids and wife moved to the table right behind it and wanted to inform the waitress.

Service and food quality at this iHOP is great. Coffee was hot and well brewed, pancakes were fluffy and warm, eggs were perfect and the service was fast and friendly. All the qualities of a great breakfast place. Plus, it’s clean! The syrup containers were not sticky at all and the floor under the table clean! Well done iHOP Arcola!

The food here has gone downhill over the last several months. The eggs Benedict was drowning in the hollandaise sauce. The scrambled eggs tasted like it came from a carton. If I could a zero star for food I would. I gave a two start overall because the service was great today!
