I have eaten at a handful of local places since my move to Milwaukee and I have to say Culvers in Shorewood easily ranks in top 5 of best burgers. Always consistent with great service. Their chicken sandwich is really great as well.

1st time at a culvers, food was amazing, and the restaurant was clean. However, the cashier who took my order told me I could get my custard after eating. After my meal, I went back in line with my receipt and let the new cashier know that I ordered a kids’ meal and wanted my custard. She refused to give me the custard I already paid for because I didn’t save a little brown paper slip. I was not informed about the brown paper beforehand. So, I basically got ripped off and paid for a custard I never got.

The best part of this Culver’s is that it’s right of the Oak Leaf Trail. So nice to bike and skip crazy drive through lines. I’ve always had polite service and good food but several times they’ve gotten my order wrong in ways that cost me additional money- making a single burger double, a medium basket when i said a small. Haven’t always noticed until the food comes. It’s kind of annoying, I wish they’d confirm orders.

Culver’s is a great burger joint! Their custard is wonderful too! I have enjoyed their fish fry as well. It’s great if you need something quickly made. Getting through the line wheylther it’s the drive through or standing in line is kind of a hassle sometimes. Lots of kids working the counter for summer which is great, but you can tell its kids behind the counter. Which is okay they are learning! Staff is always polite and happy to accommodate you and your family’s needs. I always would order a “ridiculous amount of pickles” on my burger and they were kind enough to oblige.

Customer service is unmatched! Food always hot and appropriately cold if you are ordering custard. Rain, sleet, snow this is the place to go! Long lines? They are still going to serve everyone as fast as they can. Out of all the years that I have eaten at this location. I have only had my order wrong once. Sorry no photo…I ate my one scoop turtle too quick!
