Went for dinner with the family and we were seated right away. We picked outside seating. The service was great – friendly, helpful with suggestions and made sure the fan was on everyone outdoors!! We loved the fried shrimp basket, the batter was good and the shrimp were large. Chicken tenders were delicious!! Being on the water was relaxing with a great view. We’ll definitely go back next time we’re in Crystal River.

We went there for the chocolate mousse dessert they have. Really good! The decor is nice. Open space, plenty of room, clean. They have lots of outside seating looking over the water. Will definitely go back when we revisit the area.

You won’t find me this far north in Florida often AT ALL but I’ll be here for a few weeks so let the uncharted territory reviews begin with Crackers Bar and Grill. First off, it’s on the water and there’s actually a boat launch right next to it which is different. Not pictured. Very nice setting. I ordered the wings and the Firecracker burger. The wings I ordered with the dry rub and blue cheese. Pretty damn good I must say. Crispy and not over cooked. Very healthy pieces as well. The burger I asked for medium rare. Cooked perfectly, and it’s BIG too. Came equipped with lettuce tomato onion pepper jack cheese pickles and jalapeno. Very juicy, good burger. The fries were heavily recommended and they were very good as well. Nothing out of this world, looks like it could be a nice weekend spot though. I’ll be back to try some of the seafood !

We went to Crackers for the first time while visiting Crystal River and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was very friendly, the food was average to above average. I had gator on my mind but they were out so I went with salmon and the portion was HUGE! The drinks were decent and so was all the other food we got. We will return on our next time out that way.

It was absolutely the best day! Out on the pontoon cruising Crystal River and docked the boat at Cracker’s. The food came out hot and delicious. The staff made sure you didn’t want for anything. You felt comfortable the moment you walked off the dock. Cracker’s also has an outside bar and dining area for those that want to be outside. Make sure and stop in, whether in the car, on the motorcycle, or on a boat.
