The SH location is exceptional! Staff always seems upbeat, and the food is usually warm/hot. The last couple of times, my food has been cold (I don’t live far enough for it to get cold by the time I get home). Overall, I have been satisfied with them. I was with my friends and we had a drive through order and we had to wait like almost half an hour PLUS they have no control over the homeless people and one of them was saying that he wanted to scratch his car. I mean, it’s MickeyD’s, right? Tbh I hadn’t had an ACTUAL full lunch from a McDonalds in … going on 5 yrs. And for a reason, I was disappointed on my last visit because of the poor food. So I had waited 4 years before that visit 5 years ago!! I’ve been consistently disappointed by the fact that food just doesn’t seem to BOND together. The glitter like covering of supremely shredded thin lettuce on the big Mac just floats above the thin, easily dissolved “burger” patty.

Nothing against their food of staff neccesarily, but I remember when McDonald’s released the szechuan sauce again and figured I’d give it a try. They said it wasn’t available and I was a little bummed, but whatever. Tonight I had heard about the grown up happy meals, the “cactus plant flea market box”. Basically the food they had, a stupid box, and a stupid toy. I figured I’d go for one and again got the “it’s not available at this time” which, whatever, I think this location is a franchise so maybe they don’t participate in some promotions. I ordered a couple burgers and they included an ad insert to try the “cactus plant flea market box” in the bag.

McDonald’s used to be the “standard”. Employees were always friendly and polite. Not so much here. I take my 9 year old there everyday after school and I’m disappointed 4 out of 5 days. Employees at pickup windows (under 25 years old) don’t know basic courtesy or politeness. No have a nice day or thank you for coming. Only employee that is outstanding is Anthony. He should be training the others how to be professional and courteous. I know their business won’t suffer because of my review but patrons deserve better.
