Ordered a chicken cutlet hero which has lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo to start. Asked them to add cheese, onions, peppers, and they left off the lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and o&v. Cutlet was small, chicken dried out, bread was stale. Worst chicken cutlet hero I’ve ever had. The chicken in the chicken milanese entree was chewy, so either undercookded or old. I asked to speak to the guy who made the sandwich, he wouldnt speak to me. This place has gone downhill, will never order from there again, and I live in the neighborhood. There are a ton of pizzerias in Wayne better than Gencarellis

I ordered from here for the first time tonight and it will be the last. I bought mozzarella sticks and when they arrived there were two different varieties of frozen, store bought sticks (looks like Farm Rich and maybe Sargento). I would not have paid $9 for this garbage if I knew that’s what they are deserving.

Hello, I would like to share my unfortunate experience with this facility. I would not consider myself particularly particular about my dining experiences, but this was just unacceptable. Today, somebody threw a macaroni and cheese ball across the table and it landed on my brand new pair of platform crocs (I am also allergic to dairy) . At first I was going to let it slide, but this rude customer kept making noise. So, I contacted a worker. The worker told me to throw it back, so I did. Unfortunately, they were not talking about the viral Tik Tok dance move, and I got kicked out. I was not able to finish my chicken francese. At the very least, I am utterly disappointed with my experience today. Thank you.

We order from here quite often. I don’t know what happened tonight. When did you start serving frozen meatballs? The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was gallons of watery sauce and rubbery chicken. The penne vodka was bland and dry. The sandwich was good, but was it worth the $57 fee??? Soooo disappointed.

Bad business model. Ordered a salad that normally comes with dressing in the bag. Today the bag was stapled closed so even if there was a reason to check I wouldn’t. Got home, of course it wasn’t there. I called on it and was told “oh, my bad” and that I had to pick it up or they would have to charge me a delivery fee.

My wife found this place while trying to find a chicken saltimbocca recipe that didn’t have mushrooms. We thought what the heck and gave it a shot. I ordered the chicken vodka parm entree and OH MY GOODNESS it was amazing. It was one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. The pizza we ordered for our kids was excellent if you like the thin crust type. 10/10 would get again.

I had the drunken grandma pizza pie deal for $17 and upon tasting it, I knew right away this was the best around. The combination between the crust the cheese and the vodka sauce the balance was absolutely perfect. The texture was crunchy on the outside and cooked to perfection on the inside. I had about a 15 minute wait once I arrived but it was well worth the wait. Perfection isn’t instant.

They made a cake for my son’s birthday. I had a full sheet cake and they did a killer job. Sure, I could have saved a little money if I got a Costco cake but I heard Gencarelli’s had great tasting cakes… They did not disappoint. I will definitely use them again.

I have been ordering from here for years !! The food is always top notch.. I also have had them cater birthdays and other events for me, delivery drivers always arrived and set up the food !!
