The drinks and atmosphere were good. The most impressive was the service though. Where there was a less than satisfactory turn out of a product (in this case a beer which was extra foamy and not quite cold because of equipment malfunction), they offered to get me a different one, which i said I could take the first drink, but since it was a little sub par, they said the next drink is free on us. I couldn’t turn that down, but it was not expected. That alone is what made me want to write a review. They also asked if the tea latte was good (which it was), but that if it weren’t, they’d replace that as well. With a policy like that, they’ll get repeat customers, and hopefully/likely get more desirable clients.

Coffee is great, line is shorter than a drive through coffee shop but the quiche was DISGUSTING. They need to taste the food they are serving every morning not sure if it was old or just tasted really bad. Tried calling them to let them know but they never answer.

Cute spot in the downtown area of Bakersfield. Food was decent and coffee choices are generic, but plentiful. Biggest knock was that they are understaffed so the same person taking the orders is also making the coffee and prepping food, meaning it took quite a wait for us to just order even though there weren’t that many people in line. Overall, still a lovely shop in a cute part of the city, but would benefit from a few efficiencies in service.

Stopped for a late afternoon coffee meetup. Their cold brew is good but light. They infuse overnight so that’s good. Sampled the iced coffee and it’s very rich and delicious. The barista was so kind and helpful, patient, didn’t hurry me along.

Always a great place to go to for a quick coffee or beer. Never had a problem here till the new guy with glasses and castillas shirt started working there. He closed everything up 30min early and told us to leave. He didn’t want to rewash the blender so he said they only had iced coffee and lastly he seen us waiting in line and took. 10 min to take our order. Will still be coming back but that guy needs better customer service and to not be kicking ppl out 30min before closing.

Made a first time visit to this spot over the weekend. The Mud Slide blended coffee is the best! However, as it was my first time in the area, I wasn’t aware of the amount of homeless. Several of them were causing a scene outside of the coffee shop and it didn’t feel like a safe or welcoming environment. I’ll be back, but I’ll take my items to-go next time.

The employee is so impolite and he doesn’t respect the customer he doesn’t follow line taking orders. He takes orders on line but when his friend or customer that he knows came he skipped me and 2 behind me to take his order. That was so weird to me .I am new first time there I was in the downtown and I don’t know the area . The Latteh was so bad I couldn’t drink more than one sip ,my wife had cappuccino was good. I looked at google and found a great rate but unfortunately the rate is un true at all and didn’t help me this time . Not recommended at all !

I came at 9:00 the cofee was cold looks it is old or something! The cappuccino was ok . Customer service was so bad and the man who worked there was very rude and impolite he made a mistake with customer next to me he didn’t even say sorry! The employee skipped the line and helped his friend the other customer was upset when he talked to him about that the employee told him the conversation is over without saying sorry. Wow I never saw that before!

Very rude and unprofessional customer service. I waited in line 10 minutes there was only one pieces of coffee cake left and I wanted to order it the employee who worked there skipped me and 2 in-front of me and give the last piece to the man behind me because he was his friend. Excuse me no friends at work! All customers has to be respected and he has to go by line without skipping!

Honestly I’ve been coming here for an entire month eating this sausage casserole and I’ve lost more than 5 pounds it’s delicious and filling! I’m working upstairs and having this place so close is a huge plus. Staff is always friendly – the line can get kinda long 4-5 people sometimes but the staff is always hustling on orders and friendly. Atmosphere is chill. Couches are a big plus, tables outside are decent. Five star!
