I have been eating at Dunav for over a decade. The quality has never wavered. Solid well-seasoned Serbian food. The Civapi may be the best in the city. This is a hidden gem in the near Western suburbs. Don’t let the nondescript exterior fool you. Serbian food is a singular and a treat. Go hungry. The portions are generous.

Found this gem by accident. We were looking for something different to eat while on a visit to Brookfield Zoo. The staff could use some English tutoring but they try very hard to make sure you feel comfortable and welcome. The staff will try to let you know what is good and let you decide. At least some of the menus are in English. The food is excellent and the portions are huge! We had plenty to take home!
