Fresh collard greens are cleaned, cut, and then placed into homemade high-quality chicken stock, not broth! As a result, the stock is full of deep flavor, which permeates through the greens slowly, making them MELT IN YOUR MOUTH! Smoked turkey neck is also added to the greens. My homemade Southern Black-Eyed Peas are included on the side, which has a smokey, spicy, deep, yet not overwhelming bacon flavor.
