I actually was looking for a Greek Dinner, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The Damascus bread, lamb, & hummus were fantastic. For a great meal in a ‘hole in the wall’ experience you got it. We will be coming back for sure. Hey, I have spent three times that amount for the same meal I had.

I attended a workshop at the University, so this place is within a walking distance. Whenever I travel I always try to eat something not mainstream restaurant wise. This was an excellent choice. Very good food, quiet atmosphere, respectful people. I wanted to go there the following day but I had a change of plan. Would definitely eat there again if in the area.

We really enjoyed our experience at Sahara this weekend! The food and atmosphere is amazing. The staff were very friendly and respectful with excellent service, my children love this place. We tried the chicken kabobs, the chicken curry and the Pasha Chicken. The owner brought over fresh and hot pita bread and hummus. Both of them were incredibly. All of the people in my party were blown away with the customer service and the food! The portions were large and enough to have leftovers! The Curry chicken had the option of spicy or mild. I tried the mild. There was a kick but definitely true to the description. Another added bonus is that they have a couple parking spots in front of the store front so you don’t have worry about finding parking in Columbia. Overall a great experience and would recommend trying it!

This is decent place with affordable meals. People generally get falafel wrap but their falafel platter is much better and filling. It’s a go-to lunch place for me and many students. You get vegetarian and vegan options here.

The food was really good especially for the price. I got the Pascha Lamb on rice and I got my sister a gyro and let me tell you we destroyed that food, that’s how good it was. I will definitely be back the next time I am downtown.
