NIce Ethiopian Restaurant. Food, service, price were fine. I tried Meat Combination Platter – everything was delicious with good portion for 2-3 people. Quite tiny dining room (but they also have outdoor seating and 2nd floor options) but nice decoration, cozy and relax atmosphere. (Homey Cafe style). Easy location and parking in Downtown Silver Spring. MD. Recommend, will never upset.

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience. I had only had Ethiopian food once before, but it was so good I wanted to try it again. My friends and I walked in and the woman working was so friendly and helpful. We weren’t really sure what to order so she gave some suggestions and it was all amazing. For the size of our partly she had recommended 2 meat platters and 2 veggie platters and it was a pretty perfect amount of food. She kept checking in on us and answering questions about the food. The decor was really cute and just all around an amazing experience. I plan to go again soon!

A lovely and cool oasis on a hot day. We had the vegetable plate for one plus the tomato salad. It was a perfect lunch for two. My favorite was the red lentils. A close second was the tomato salad – highly recommend

Delicious food and friendly staff. Our waiter was very attentive. Entrees are ideal size to share with a date. The amount of injera bread that comes is generous, you won’t leave here hungry! Will definitely come back to support this local establishment.

They just reopened after renovations. The restaurant looks great. The staff was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious and there was so much of it. Great options for vegetarians or if you like meat. All around great experience.

Group of four having our first Ethiopian dining experience on a Saturday evening. Nice spring day and got a free parking spot right out front. We took one of their outdoor deck tables (not much to see other than a giant parking garage), and the water arrived instantly to give us paper menus (sorry apparently only took a picture of one side of the two) and took drink orders. He was very friendly, explained everything to us (nothing too exciting other than no utensils and eat using the bread), and checked in often to see what we needed. Drinks and food were quickly delivered (but no pressure to finish quickly). They had some local wine and bottles of Ethiopian beer. Food was beautifully presented, is more filling than you may initially expect (we had a container full of leftovers), great spices without being too heated, and a wide variety for communal sharing. We were all pleased and had a great dinner.
