Great food! Love the shrimp poboys! Husband loves his oysters on a half shell. I tried boudin for the first time, actually really like it. The buffets are wonderful! Thursday night is chicken and Friday night is seafood. Love the fish and shrimp. And make sure you get a bowl of the chicken and dumplings. Taste like Mom’s! kid friendly, good hearted people. Happy to have a seafood restaurant that’s actually really good.

Have had breakfast here two times and will be back. The food was tasty. The gravy is full of meat. The biscuits look and taste like homemade. I had scrambled eggs and they were fluffy not the flat thin kind you get at some of the local places around here. In all it was very good.

Delicious food! The crab legs were amazing and my husband said the buffet was one of the best he’s had in a long time. Wait staff didn’t seem to be in a big hurry, but they were very friendly.

Our large family went in and paid 24.95 for the seafood buffet a piece and they had very little on the buffet. The waitress said we are restocking and the cook would bring out a small bowl of shrimp and we waited 30 minutes or more for them to bring out fish. WE finally got tired of waiting and just left. As we were walking out the cook brought out a very small pan of tilapia. I was very disappointed. If you offer a seafood buffet at that price it should be stocked!!!!!!

Lunch was 3 enormous, perfectly fried pieces of fish and fries. Delicious! The restaurant has been sold, but The new owners will learn some of the recipes and add other American foods. We have high hopes for more good food at Big Daddy’s.

Lunch menu not appealing but their entrees were good, service horrible, not going back anytime soon if ever. Take a cushion to sit on, they’re by the door after you enter. The wood seats are beautiful but hard. We went back 3x since last post. The food is still delicious and outweighs the sometime iffy service. It was quite warm inside every time we ate there. Went here Friday.Waited forever for service. Finally a waitress comes to our table and asks if we wanted the buffet. I asked to see a menu. She was obviously upset and said we would wait at least another 20 minutes for our food to get cooked because they are cooking the buffet food first. She said she would get menus. Never asked us what we wanted to drink.After a few minutes it became obvious she was not bringing us a menu so we walked out. 1st and last time I will go there. Went to 178 Club and and had a wonderful dinner.

If you love seafood, this is your place. From soft she’ll crabs, shrimp, frog legs, aligator, fish, gumbo, and the like, the seafood buffet is a real treat on Friday night. Eat until your full. Other days by menu order. The awesome dining experience. Friendly people.

My mom and I have been here several times and loved it each time! I was over the moon that that had soft shell crab!!! We have some minor suggestions on tweaking recipes and the owner was interested in our opinion since we’re originally from Louisiana. We’ll definitely be back!
