My fiance and I went to Gohan on March 18th for our anniversary, and everything was great! HOWEVER… while paying, we both clearly remember that I left a $20 CASH tip on a $90.88 check that I charged to my card. I woke up this morning (March 21st) and checked my bank account, and to my surprise, the bill from GOHAN went up from $90.88 to $110.88! Management needs to look into their workers because this is absurd. We left a tip that was over 20%, but I guess that’s not enough for people. BE AWARE WHEN EATING AT GOHAN. Definitely will NEVER eat there again.

I’ve been a fan of Gohan since they opened maybe 20 years ago? Always great quality sushi and sashimi, excellent service too. I go often for sushi, I want this restaurant to thrive after a brutal Covid lockdown.

Not great – it is maybe one small notch above grocery store sushi, but at twice the price. One premium roll was $17 – I gave 2 stars because the service was pleasant, but for restaurant sushi, I expected way more.

its pretty good. i think the fish while not at all old or inedible had a subtly degraded taste (perhaps it had been frozen) but it was barely perceptible and the vegetarian sushi, prawns and goma tasted nice.
