We (3 adults and a rambunctious 2 yr old) had an early dinner there last night. The staff was very friendly and attentive but most of all, the Mexican food was great! Much improved over the last owners where it was just so-so. The beef, pork and chicken portions were all marinated and slow cooked and the dinners were very well presented.

We enjoyed Cinco de Mayo with its warm staff and delicious food. Only open a couple of weeks and they are already very well run. We had the Enchiladas (Chicken and Beef) and one of the specials – Mar y Tierra – Chicken, Steak and Shrimp in a mildly spicy light sauce with bell peppers, rice, and a small salad. The special was quite large and the steak was very tender, the chicken juicy and shrimp cooked perfectly. We will certainly be back.

$15 for 2 hard shell tacos. Stale taco shells. Surrounded by a soupy mush of beans and rice. Salsa that tastes like watered down tomato sauce. What kind of food is this supposed to be? You could go in absolutely any direction and find real authentic Mexican food. But it isn’t here. Even Taco Bell is better value for the money.

I have no idea how this is getting good reviews, our food was AWFUL- this was not prepared by an authentic Mexican person. The rice was tasteless, the beans were canned like- the fajitas were full of oil. My seafood enchiladas weren’t even together just one big mush& it tasted like curry. Like I said, no authentic Mexican actually made this. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants and it just went downhill- such a shame.

Casi incomestible. Wouldn’t recommend/no lo recomendaría. Ordered beef enchiladas with gazpacho off the lunch menu. I’m thoroughly convinced the gazpacho was simply the salsa they serve with chips, but watered-down. Received chicken enchiladas instead of beef (…despite being the only person in the restaurant) — unwholesome presentation, generally unpalatable. Not worth the expense.

Tried this place two times so far. Definitely going back more often. The food is great and staff is friendly and accommodating. First time, last minute decision for my family and i to go here to eat. There was 18 of us. The staff did a great job setting up plenty of space and they were very quick. Drinks, appetizers, and meals were in front of us with perfect timing and no one had complaints. If you get a chance to go, try the mushroom appetizer or the shrimp appetizers…. Sooooooo goooood!

This place is wonderful! My husband and I went on Fri. Nov 4 and again this past Fri (11/11/22) with another couple. Loved the mushroom appetizer! Loved the homemade chips/salsa. Food is excellent and servers were top notch. Will make this place my go-to! Thank you for opening near my home in Basking Ridge! Love that you are in nearby Warren.
