This restaurant is definitely a hole in the wall. It has delicious food in huge portions. If you’re interested in shawarma, this is not a place to be missed in Media PA.

What can I say, there food is very on point and fresh. Being a delivery driver and having them on my route I would smell and seeing what they where making and kept promising myself I will get something next time a make a delivery to them, and sure wasn’t disappointed!

The food was lacking flavor. Very bland. Not what you should expect from a Mediterranean restaurant. I’ve had much tastier Mediterranean meals from a bar and sandwich shop. We had the red falafel sandwich, spicy chicken shawarma, carrot salad and hummus. The carrot salad was the only item with any flavor and the falafel didn’t taste fresh. I’m not sure how this restaurant has a rating of 4.4

I went to desert Rose tonight to celebrate a great achievement in my personal life. I wanted to order the lamb kebab. The Man behind the counter said they were currently out of that but instead he would offer me his special lamb shank. It was the most amazing food I’ve had in a long time. I’m so glad that I went here to celebrate. Thank you desert Rose for making this celebration for me all the more special.

We had the chicken shawarma and a cheese steak… Both were fantastic… The cheese steak is the best one I’ve ever had in DELCO and probably in my top 3 of best cheese steaks of all time that I’ve eaten. I will definitely be coming back.

We bought the two most delicious falafel sandwhiches and devoured them. Their falafel is home made with none of that artificial taste that so many falafel places have. The sauce, the fresh veggies–OMG! We also got a gorgeous Greek salad that was to die for. Their pitas are unlike any you have ever had. So fluffy and doughy. I would eat here every day if I could afford it.

This was a place I raved about 10 years ago in Media. Very authentic, unique, flavorful, family owned, quaint. Tonight was my first visit back since the pandemic and I was extremely disappointed. I talked it up to a friend who had never been there and felt awkward when our meals came out. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma, $18. It used to be so flavorful. This was very bland. Chicken did not seem good quality. Portions are HUGE, I will get 3 meals out of it. Too much chicken, I would have liked more hummus. I prefer the old way of a section of chicken, section of hummus, salad, pita vs it being a pile of chicken on hummus. Please go back to the way you first started!!!!

Not impressed… AT ALL. A friend of mine highly suggested this place. I read the reviews and was skeptical but I still came. The food is overpriced and super unseasoned. This was my 1st time trying “Mediterranean” food and it’s not authentic. The service was ok but not super welcoming. Even the plating was horrible. A huge pile of cheap chicken on top of unseasoned hummus. I won’t be back.

One of my favorite restaurants in media, always our go-to spot for quality food. It never disappoints. The sandwiches are fresh, healthy, and filling. I never can finish the chicken shawarma. It has lots of spices and veggies in it. Hummus is always 10/10 also, and more importantly, it’s nice to see the owner preparing the food, and he’s always appreciative of customers’ business and always communicates back directly from the kitchen when you say thank you. They work very hard and you can see that. It’s rare to see that in a restaurant nowadays where there’s usually a clear disconnect between the chefs, owners, and waiters, here you see the owner, you see the food being prepared, and they share the appreciation with the customer.
