Great place to eat a quick freshly cooked breakfast! We got there around 815am on a Friday and there were few tables indoors available (there were roughly 5 tables indoor and about 4 tables outdoor). It got busy starting 830am. We were given menus quickly and there is early morning special from 7am to 9am for 3 options for $7.50. I asked if the meat can be sub to vegetarian option, and the answer is can be subbed for potatoes or fruits. So FYI if you are vegetarian and want to take advantage of the early morning special. Food was good, not super oily, right taste, and more importantly, came out fast. The restaurant is in a corner of the plaza, sort of tucked away. There is one unisex restroom available for use. Definitely a good option for breakfast/brunch!

I’ve been there once in August of 2023. We sat outside, and while looking at the menu, I was getting an occasional whiff of urine. At first, I thought I was mistaken, but after the 4th whiff of it, my wife and I checked the inside, and there was now a table available inside. I think the homeless urinate on their outside patio area or on the bushes nearby. Gross. So, looking at the breakfast menu, the only combo breakfast is a small plate. One egg, two bacon, OR sausage, and, in the case of a waffle combo, just half a waffle. That is what I ordered, but I left hungry. The food was ok. Cheap sausage links, waffle tasted like an oily fair type funnel cake. The egg was good. My wife said her omlette was ok. Her fresh fruit was good. The glass of water was good too. We had to ask for a copy of our receipt as they only brought the one copy. We were debating between trying this place or going to Denny’s. Halfway through our meal, we both said we should have gone to Denny’s.

It took almost 10 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us is the tiny 6 table restaurant. We sat out side waiting to place our order and the waitress sat and waited on people that came after us. The food was really good though once it arrived.

My experience, for the price you paid and food quality you got, you will get better tasty food at McDonald’s. Serice is great! Fish and chips and basicuit looks like out of frozen pre made tv dinner. Country fried steak is very thin and below average taste. Best part of our order is rice bowl and beignets. Our tea is bit old. .

Break Your Fast is my new favorite place! The food here is top notch! They have a spinach salad with strawberries & walnuts and a strawberry vinigarette dressing, that is to die for! They also have an Asian Chicken Salad that is amazing! They had run out of strawberries one day, the server suggested the Asian Chicken Salad, and promised that I would LOVE it. And he was not wrong! Now when I go there, I have such a hard time deciding between the two! They even serve mimosas and drinks! I think this is a little family owned place, and the service is fantastic. They even remember you when you come back! I LOVE Break Your Fast!

Initially came here a few months with a great friend of mine as a halfway breakfast spot between San Jose and Oakland. I had the Eggs Benedict with gravy which were just amazing. This time I tried the crab cake eggs Benedict and it was tasty. The crunch of the crab cakes with the broken yolk of the eggs and sauce, made this an enjoyable dish. I still think the gravy Eggs Benedict was better. Had a more impactful flavor. I liked the country potatoes but they could be cooked longer. They were very soft. I think this will become my go-to breakfast spot in Fremont. Also, it’s right across the BART station.
