If you want to enjoy great beats while you eat, come to Doucè. I might not always write a review, but I’ve been to Doucè plenty of times for the past two years. Great atmosphere, and the food is awesome You could dine in or take out, but I suggest you dine in and enjoy the music while you eat Great place for a date or girls’ night out. I’m not sure what time they’re open, but I know they close late Oh! Did I tell you I love this place They play all types of music, so you’ll definitely hear your favorite songs.

Went on a Sunday for lunch. I had the boulette (fried meatballs), plantains, rice & beans & lemonade. My fried had the griot. The food was really good but the service could be so much better. The waitress barely checked on us & we waited over 20 minutes for the check.

Lets start with the good: The food was AMAZING. i went around 4pm and found out that they have happy hour. I definitely recommend the Douce drink under their Happy Hour Menu. The griot and the turkey tacos were both really well seasoned.

I’ve been coming here since it opened and the service is getting worse. Keeping up with two locations but be difficult. As soon as we walked in the place smelled like they clean the restaurant with dirty rag/mops. The chairs and tables were filthy. The servers stood behind the bar having a stare contest with us. Luckily a manager came to our rescue. I never leave reviews however the service was too horrendous I just had to tell the world.

If I had only ordered the fritay they would have received a 5 star. The fritay was delicious but I also ordered legume and sadly that was a joke. They used canned mixed vegetables in their legume, I had yellow corn in my legume with cut up string beans, taste wise just ok. The fritay platter was perfect though.

Worst experience I had in Ft Lauderdale. Waitress pretended to not speak English but understood others fine. Mind you, I don’t have a particular accent, ppl can’t tell what part of the US I’m from. I speak clear, proper English. The person who brought out the food couldn’t speak English. The menus were gross. Sticky, dirty, and falling apart which made me order fries only. My daring friend had the overpriced oxtails (and got sick later). Oxtails are expensive I get it. But these were very overpriced. Not many there and she received bean juice….was supposed to be beans but not a bean in sight, just juice. The fries were decent lol. 2-3 oz of rum punch is $12 and they change the price if the measurements is off. I don’t know where they got that idea from but it’s a bad one. So overpriced mediocre drinks. Cherry on top is getting the ticket wrong several times. Couldn’t get out fast enough. Oh and get ready for guys trying to pick you up in the parking lot.

The staffed girl that answered the phones are so unprofessional. The very first time I tried to order and call. I was on hold for an hour until I gave up and hang up. Today, I tried to order was and was immediately placed on hold so she can give her number to a guy that threatened that she better gave her the corrected number and not her boyfriend or the restaurant number. She asked him if he was a Virgo and he answered with excitement “how did you know”. The phone went silent until she came back 5 minutes later. Just so she could rushed me off the phone that I only order one thing cause she didn’t care to hear the rest. Then I get my pasta and it drowned in sauce but the Taco Griot was everything though
