Food and service here was excellent. We had the spinach dip starter, chicken tendersbstarter, cheeseburgers and the Alfredo. Everything was so good, but our favorite part of the meal was the chicken tenders. They were made with real chicken breasts that were hand battered. So good!!! We can’t wait to go back.

BEST FOOD IN FLINT, MI! I have eaten at every establishment in flint, while working here the past few weeks and I DEEPLY REGRET not eating here FIRST because it would have been the ONLY place I spent money at! Really good food & vibes! Will definitely go back as much as I can while still in town!

Worse $100 dinner for two I’ve ever had! I ly had a drink a piece and appetizer and two dinners, waited over almost an hour for our appetizer, our driveway nners came with now condiments like salt and pepper, ketchup, butter, tarter sauce, etc. Our appetizer was taken off the table before we were done with it, the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other from across the table even after asking for it to be turned down. Gratuity was automatically added to the bill for just two people….worsted experience I’ve ever had!

Me and the husband waited for over an hour at Cracker Barrel to leave all upset and hungry. Drove down the road seen this restaurant had never tried it so we pulled in. This food the service the people it is all amazing. We go down south a lot for food and this is right on the same level as Restaurants in different areas this is a Hidden gem. Great music. Definitely will be back.

100% DO NOT GO! It was so bad, we left before drinks! First off, we reserved a table for a large party weeks before the event and even called to confirm the day of to which they just gave away to some other party before we got there! They wanted us to sit at multiple booths back to back but that’s clearly not what a party would want to do when you came to socialize together. Then they offered to put tables together but because our party was too big for two tables together, a couple people had to sit at a neighboring booth which was extremely awkward. Plus the host was a very rude man. My husband and I were the last to enter out of the group and as we were walking to the table, the host was very short with us and almost shoved the menus and silverware to us (which surprised me wasn’t at the table already since most places automatically bring the whole table those things first). We ordered drinks to which never came within 20-30 minutes of waiting. The place seemed very dirty and ran down and at that point, we didn’t want to risk food poisoning so we all cancelled our drink orders and left after 40 minutes of this. We had to search for a last minute place for our birthday dinner. Very unhappy.

The flavor of the food speaks for itself. The building, plating, or use of plastic doesn’t reflect the price of the food, but hear me out. The owner is very friendly and cares deeply about feedback and the quality of food. The hennesy salmon was AMAZING and the broccoli was perfectly roasted. Also best yams I’ve ever had. Service was super quick, and the dj created a nice lounge atmosphere. I’m giving 5 stars because the food was that good and the customer service was excellent.

My Husband has been SO excited to try this place. We have tried to go 3 different times before today, and now we know why it never worked out, it wasn’t meant too! Lol but we kept pushing and it lead us there earlier today and me to make this review tonight… I ordered a NY Strip MEDIUM WELL, it came out SO charred I couldn’t eat it (I have a picture of it). The red skin mashed potatoes came out cold and the mac and cheese was just awful, it tasted gross. My husband ordered an ordinary burger that comes with a side, it wasn’t anything special and didn’t even come with condiments and it cost $15 He prefers red robin as you get more bang for your buck. He also did not like the mac and cheese, and his potatoes were cold also. The kitchen accidentally sent us an extra side and said we wouldn’t have to pay for it but low and behold it was on our bill. Then they don’t forewarn you but they add in gratuity on the bill! ($10.63) I have never seen another establishment do this unless it’s a large party of people. My Husband and I were the only ones who were there and ate earlier. The price point for basic and really not great food was appaling enough but then to add gratuity on top of it is just wrong. We were told “the system automatically adds gratuity” which is crazy. We should’ve been able to choose the tip, and thankfully my Husband paid attention to the bill because we were not told, when our copy was brought back to sign there was another spot to manually add a tip. We paid $73 and some change for 2 people to eat a steak and burger that we could’ve made better at home by getting the burger and steak from Sam’s and having my Husband grilling it! This was just one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at an eatery to date and we really did have high hopes for this place. We didn’t bother telling management because by the end there was SO much wrong, it wasn’t worth bringing every single thing up. Thankfully we had a wonderful server! She was very polite, attentive, engaging, and she had a wonderful attitude although we were upset about the gratuity charge before hand which wasn’t her fault. So we are grateful for her and that! Let this picture below speak for itself, this is how a medium well NY Strip is apparently prepared..

So we wanted to experience a restaurant from our home town. First off our server was great. He was the best thing ever. Everything you want in a server, he was just that. Outstanding!!

The moment we walked in the music was blaring. The food took an hour to be finished. Server was friendly and kind. The appetizers were pretty good, but that was the best part of the experience. The main course wasn’t even hot, the sides tasted microwaved. The salmon was okay tho a bit burnt, lobster tail was charred and tough. Chewy and flavorless. Bill was 110 dollars for what I could’ve ordered at an Applebee’s at almost half the price, with the same quality. Come here if you enjoy disappointing experiences.

Decided to support the restaurant after seeing and hearing mixed reviews and following their journey. By far its an inspiration to open in such a economically challenging environment as Flint, but with that comes the cost of offering the best food and service so the business remains vital. At least this should drive the success. The food and service must be top notched no matter in a pandemic or when everything normalizes.
