So me and 2ic finally made it here. She had heard about it. And we both love seafood. So why not. When we arrived it was pretty early to when they opened. So it was empty minus one other couple. It was open seating. So you seat yourself. The waitress was nice and took out order. Now here is whwre it gets tricky. So they brought my wife food out and told her that they felt that naking her wait for her food any longer .. to serve ith mine was not a good idea. And they told me that the cook had stepped out. He ce the delay in my food. So they comped my meal and gave me something else. I ordered WIngs and fries. Maybe the delay in giving my wife her food was a bad mistake. Because my wife said the food was cold. She said the butter sauce on it was very good. But hard to enjoy when half of her food was cold. Then they brought out my wings. And one of the wings wasn’t fully cooked. Now I am a bit hood .. I was just gonna eat around it. But my wife wanted to make sure the cook or waitress saw it. The fries were decent. But the wings. Looked delicious. But to me lacked flavor. Then they brought out my food. The bowl. It looked amazing. But the seasoning was off. Everything was seasoned. But some was seasoned too much. . And my bowl was warm .. which I didn’t u derstand since it was just made. I expected it to be hot. So the waitress came back to check on us. And that when we told her about the food. She didn’t hesitate to get the owner/ cook from the back. She came out and saw the undercooked chicken felt the cold crab legs.. and she was very apologetic. They offered to give us the entire meal for free. But they were black owned and I made sure to pay for something. .but to find out they had just been open for 2 weeks. And the main cook was nit there to prepare the food.. so it maybe worth another try and go back. All the food looked amazing. The if was hit .. it maybe have been delicious. And when u have a small ran restaurant one cook does make the difference. And I am all for supporting black businesses. And everyone was nice.. prior to telling them bout the food. . So I would say maybe give them a chance just make sure the main cook is there.

This was my first time at this restaurant on today. I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a while because on there instagram account the food look delicious. When I came In today there was a couple dining in. The floor was sticky. That was the first red flag. It was not busy during the time I was there but I know I stood up front for about 5-7 minutes before someone came from the kitchen to take my order. That was the second red flag. The food didn’t take long to come out. I placed a Togo order. When I got home and open my box I was very disappointed. I had one crab cluster that was small. Most restaurants do give you at least two clusters. The corn tasted old. The eggs tasted rubbish. The food was just awful and I had more potatoes than anything. I will not be returning here.

Just left here still in the parking lot and this food is AMAZING definitely getting your moneys worth not only we’re the employees amazing the owner came out to make sure everything was good and the food reminded me of home it was so amazing! I can’t remember the last time I finished all of my food from a restaurant!

My husband and I decided to stop by for dinner yesterday and we had high hopes as reviews were mostly very positive. We arrived right when they opened and were immediately greeted and told we could sit anywhere. We ordered our food and proceeded to wait over an hour for it to come to the table. Due to it taking so long we had to take it to go. We ordered the #5 (3 crab clusters and a pound of shrimp with the usual sides), #7 (catfish platter with fries), and a side of hush puppies. We never received the hush puppies as they forgot to cook them and when we got home there were no shrimp in our seafood container. So we paid for a pound of shrimp we never received. I gave 2 stars because the young lady who gave us our food was pleasant and apologetic about the long wait and provided us a complimentary appetizer. The food was decent and maybe they were having an off day, but we will not be returning.

After witnessing the owner talk to his employees the way he did last night I will never ever return. Service & food was great, but I cannot support a black owned business that demeans & insults their employee as i did last night. I love seeing our people beating the odds, doing things legally & not being in the streets, so to see someone getting belittled in any capacity while at work trying to do better for themselves by their employer was very disheartening! Will never return! I hope all the employees that endured that behavior last night shake back & find a better opportunity!

I ordered the catfish nuggets basket and chicken tenders basket, which were delicious. The staff was very friendly and ensured that we were satisfied. Overall, great customer service and amazing food. I highly recommend this place and I will go back in the future.

Got to the restaurant at approximately 1:20 and it looked like total chaos. According to their website they open at noon. My guess said let’s wait. Music was so loud we couldn’t hear the waiter. I ask the DJ if he could turn the music down. It’s bad when you can’t talk to your friends because the music is so loud in such a small place. Of course he turned it back up. Is this a club or a restaurant. When it came time to order there were no menus. I came looking forward to seafood but was told it was soul food Sunday. This is not mentioned on the website. One of the staff put out a blackboard with the menu for the day. After ordering paper menus were put on all tables. The food did come but I was disappointed because I was looking forward to eating seafood. The sign says Krab Kingz Seafood. If I wanted soul food I would have gone to a soul food restaurant. No where on the website does it say anything about soul food.
