We went here for the first time and it was a little challenging to decide what to get, so we took a recommendation from an employee. We decided on the honey steak and shrimp fries. Which were Very good! However there is a little kick of spice, so you probably won’t be able to share with small kids. Even though I enjoyed the order, this is definitely something I would only get every now and then or if I’m hungover. I will say, they are in the perfect location for the Duke college students (which I’m sure was on purpose). This is a carryout Only place mostly. There are very few bar stools at the window. The service was friendly and the employees were very knowledgeable of the products and ingredients. The wait time was a little lengthy (15/20ish mins) with about 3 to 4 other people waiting as well; but it was freshly made, so I’ll take the wait. The food was delicious & the service was fast. I’ll definitely go back to try a “create your own”. For the first visit I ordered the Lemon Garlic Shrimp & Crab Fries. My husband ordered the Honey Garlic Shrimp & Steak Fries. As a heads up, this is not a “sit down” to eat style restaurant.

Mr. Fries in durham is an awesome spot. Food is awesome was hot, great variety of toppings and very filling. Nikkie was awesome very helpful, knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. I hope management knows they found an allstar with her. Stop in and enjoy some great fries.

This is the first fast food joint I’ve ever went to and the food looked just like the amazing pictures on the menu!!! The food was seasoned to perfection. The customer service was impeccable! I still can’t believe I got full from a plate of fries. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch and the crab and shrimp both were delicious but the crab and shrimp is my favorite. It was well worth the 2 hour drive, and I will be back!

I was finally able to visit and taste the hype!. So, I walked in and was greeted by a young lady and she knew It was my first time. She gave me a suggestions for a first timer. I ordered the honey garlic shrimp and steak. I also added crab‼️It was tasty. I love honey and fries but I never thought to add meat‼️ So my steak piece were soft and tough (Uneven), my shrimp were cooked perfectly, it were a good bit of crab meat. ($16additional) In all I probably paid about $30. (Give or take) it’s pricey but a tasty meal/snack ) I will go back and try new flavors. Oh and the honey is spicy and i don’t even eat spicy things but I finished it.

Excellent service and selection. The food was a good size serving, but not too much you had a stomach ache after eating. You could share a serving if you wanted. I picked up the food in Durham and drove it 20+ minutes back to Raleigh because the restaurant had no dine-in seating. I was worried the fries would be cold and soggy by the time I got home but they were delicious.
