Six family members went here for dinner on a busy Saturday night. It was a wonderful dining experience. We were seated promptly as per our reservation time, and our orders were taken smoothly and with all the menu changes we requested. Very accommodating.

My coworkers (10 total) and I went tonight to celebrate a birthday. We reserved a table that came with set dishes and set price. They brought out 7 appetizers, a soup, duck roll, at least 6 entrées and dessert. This was by far the best dining experience I’ve had in a while. Everything was so fresh and hot. Some great dishes included the filet mignon, seabass, duck and everyone loved the fresh veggies! The service was amazing. I think as soon as everyone got seated and served tea / water our appetizers came out in at least 15 minutes. Overall it was a great dining experience and for all the courses we got it came to after tip $63 a person. I’d recommend China Chalet to anyone especially those looking to have a one of a kind dinner with friends or family.

This is an excellent Chinese restaurant. I recommend the beef in garlic sauce, but everything here pretty good. The restaurant itself has a nice, upscale vibe and you are greeted by a giant fish tank when you walk into the main dining room. The also have lunch specials.

Finally got around to dining at China Chalet after several recommendations and was completely let down by the food and service. I think we had to flag our waiter down a total of 6 times because we were neglected. We weren’t served water initially and had to ask and the ask again because the waiter forgot. Same thing with rice that was included with my Heavenly chicken. I could have suffered through the gruff and miserable service if the food was stellar but it was mediocre at best. None of the dishes were any good and to be honest I had stomach issues following the meal. What a total let down. This place obviously survives on whatever legacy it had but that ship has sailed. Won’t be back.
