The Lazy Frogg has made some substantial improvements!! Their servers are good, the food is great! My husband & I LOVE the Prime Rib special on Wednesdays and their Sunday Brunch is Fabulous! Apparently, they are in the process of getting a new chef & General Manager and changing up their menu and pricing a bit. They’ve already modified their drink specials & pricing!

We ended up here after a great evening drive. The frog legs were juicy, and the delicious. Two in our party had the fish and chips and the portions were huge. The both thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The prime rib was also well liked and I personally felt my bbq cheddar burger was divine.

My wife and I have been to this restaurant at least five times over the past couple of months and have noticed a steady improvement in both the food and the service. I had the trout a few weeks ago and it was perfect. My wife said she thought her tenderloin sandwich was the best she’s ever had.This past Sunday, we took our whole family (kids, grandchildren, etc. ~ party of 14) to the brunch because we have been raving about it for some time and wanted them to experience it themselves. I don’t normally write these reviews, but when I Googled this place, it had many old reviews that are no longer valid. I felt I needed to speak up so people don’t miss out. We will be back soon.

We had a party of 12 on a beautiful and busy night. There was a party of 14 next to us. The service was spot on perfect. We didn’t need to wait for beverages and our food was served in a very timely manner

Mediocre food was way overpriced. Service was absolutely atrocious! Saw at least one drug deal go down in front of the main doors. Do not think there was even a manager on duty. Shifted from one waitress to another. Ordered one beer, was brought something different. The first wrong beer was then served to someone else in our party. How do I know this, because it actually came to the table quickly, versus the five+ minute wait for all the other drinks. Go to Wolfie’s instead. If you do dine here, maybe bring the health inspector with you!!!

I have been trying to talk my husband into trying the Lazy Frogg since it opened, but the reviews have been inconsistent with service and the quality of the food. The start of a staycation for me and I talked my husband into trying it as it is close by and on the water. We were seated promptly on the deck at 4:18 pm and I’m thinking wow, we’re going to be one of the customers that get great service, but that was the last of prompt. 15 minutes later, no one had waited on us. So an additional 5 minutes later a woman asked if we had been served and offered to get water and find out who our server was. Not take a drink order, but get us water. It was not crazy busy at all and people around us were getting waited on. Then 5 minutes later our waiter arrived and had waited not only on one, but two other people who were seated after us. He apologized and shared he was helping in the bar. Interesting as when my husband had arrived, no one was in the inside bar… 5 minutes later our drinks came. My husband had ordered a Long Island Tea that was salt rimmed and no cola added. Drink replaced 5 minutes later and now onto the food order at 5:14pm. We ordered frog legs, shrimp cocktail, the fish and chips, and the wedge salad. The frog legs and shrimp cocktail arrived at 5 :42pm. Both were very tasty, then within 10 minutes the fish and chips and wedge salad arrived. Again, the food was tasty with the wedge being the best wedge I’ve ever had. While the food was tasty, taking over 40 minutes for our drinks and over a hour to get our food on a non busy late afternoon early evening just doesn’t offset the food or cost to give Lazy Frogg another opportunity to underwhelm.

I want to point out, as another reviewer did, that this place has undergone major transformations in management and the kitchen and you need to give it a second chance! Sooo worth it. I will point out that I don’t go out to eat often because I have such high standards for food that I get let down often.

Wow, I was visiting family here and they have some friends that recommended this new place. The atmosphere is nice and clean but the bar area is so loud it bleeds into the dining area. We order 2 appetizers and the fries were better than Burger Kings but the crab cakes were burnt on one side and cold. The fish and chips came recommended but I was not impressed. The fish was greasy and flavorless. The coleslaw also had no flavor and my sweet potato fries weren’t very good. Hopefully this place gets it together soon or I’m afraid they won’t make it long.

We drove the boat up this past Saturday. Waited 10 minutes, and watched 2 tables that came in after us get served- no waiter, went in a told the two ladies at the hostess station, they were not fast to act, then Waited another 5 minutes still No one came to the table, finally gave up and left and went to Wolfies and had a wonderful experience. The lazy Frog has so much potential, but the service is horrible. Can’t even comment about the food and drinks because we didn’t have a chance. I suggest getting new management and staff. A lot of the servers were just standing and chatting on a Saturday afternoon. This was our second try and we will definitely not be going back!

Horrible 1st (and definitely last) experience! I was looking forward to it because the location and decor is amazing. However, the service was terrible. Our waitress took half of our parties order, left and got busy, and did not come take the other half until about 45 min later! She never brought refills or asked us if we needed anything. The food was not worth the price either. I took a few bites (I had the Crab Mac), it was not that great and I didn’t eat it.
