This place is Delicious everything I get here can’t say a bad thing. This is my favorite out of all the San Jose’s I’ve visited too. It’s never packed in here I can’t understand why… Rocky Mount sleeping on this . It’s a beautiful spacious restaurant too. When I’m in town at my truck terminal I take my tractor park in the mall parking lot and come treat myself. I enjoy this place

Another Gem in Rocky Mount. No wait time at all. As soon as we entered, the table was ready for us. Ordered Spinach Enchiladas and Vegan Burrito Bowl. Taste was good, served very hot and top on that the service. We got our food within next 5 minutes. Server was also very kind and attentive. Quantity is really good as per mentioned price. Will come back to taste chicken Menu.

This particular San José is actually one of our favorites. My personal choice on the menu, surprisingly is a baked potato I typically get as an entrée, along side a margarita. The baked potato comes along with your choice of either steak or chicken, and only sets you back $8. It’s hard to find good eating for a good price. But, this is one of my go tos. We went recently with a larger party of 9 people, and 7 of us ordered different mixed drinks. I visibility watched the frustration of the bartender as she read the ticket. However, she quickly got to work and made it through the list of drinks. She sent them out as they were made, which was very pleasant. This San José has a raised floor in the middle of the restaurant with several tables for seating and the full U bartop. There is a ring of booths and table around this, as well as an outdoors patio area. This setup means just about anywhere you sit, you have some privacy, or, at least space between whomever may be sat next to you. One of our favorite San Josés. Surprisingly, out of Rocky Mount.

The food and service was great!! And for someone who rarely ever gives 5 stars, the compliment is more than needed compared to many other restaurants near me. The atmosphere is friendly and the wait staff was excellent. I come here often and even before I didn’t give a 5 star rating. Today it was well deserved!!!! Yummmay!!!!

The food and service were both excellent. It’s been awhile since I’ve eaten good food from somewhere and this place was just awesome. I’m currently pregnant and just really wanted to try out this place after craving foods that are more fresh compared to other restaurants around and San Jose’s most definitely did not disappoint!

I ordered at the bar a Sangria Margarita and shrimp taco salad. I did not like the drink just tasted like frozen slush with sangria in it very tart. I asked the bartender to make me something else because I did not like it. She gave me another drink and Exotic which was much better. She did tell me that drink sales are final but she sees that I barely touched it and did not enjoy it. One of the bartenders that took over was new but she was friendly and let us know it was her first day. The food took longer than expected to come out but the Fajita Shrimp taco salad was very good. I like the seats at the bar and the TVs to watch football.

Update! Today’s feast just check out this presentation! Grilled chicken tacos and seasoned black beans. These beans have a great smoky taste, blasted with flavor. I invite everyone to experience this family owned restaurant. You won’t be sorry! (Old review)I always leave a review for businesses that are new to me. I will say this, I got lunch today (spinach & chicken enchiladas). They are so awesome I will be going to sit down and enjoy the beautiful decor next time. They are understaffed like most businesses but it is not affecting how they treat their customers and the food is the best Mexican I have had in some time. It’s fresh, hot and delicious. I will be eating here regularly.

Our waitress Sherry was great. We had a large party and she did an awesome job. However, the food was not great. The empanadas were not good at all they used big chunks of meat and didn’t season it.. also, the chips were stale. Salsa was way too cold. My drink was ok, but my main course had watery cheese sauce and dry rice. We also found hair in one of our shots and ranch sauce… don’t think I will be back.

The food was delish and omg the account of food they put on your plate could feed you for days!! My husband and I both got chicken right and cheese lol nothing too exciting, but yummy, none the less! Definitely will be going back on our date nights and definitely will recommend to family and friends!! Ohhh… Side note, I felt a little bad cause we got there 20 mins before closing but the service was amazing and never once do we feel rushed. Awesome place
