I am from California and visit my family at least twice a year and the minute I get off the plane my Auntie Thurlene knew what I wanted BILLY BURKS BURGERS . I found out he closed the shop for good and I was truly devastated . I wished I could have learned how he made those burgers. I would have brought the recipe to California and run every burger joint out of town!

They are never open. I just went there and the door was opened I walked in and he told me he was closed it 12:34pm it’s lunch time and you are closed. My husband is always driving by seeing if they are open. I will never come back here. That’s why black businesses don’t last.
