Tried a new restaurant b/c “regular” one not open on Mon. Googled “restaurants near me”, checked website & saw pics of entrees that could be GF. Had dining room, bar & liquor store. Had been to “Cherrys”, not sure what new owners would bring, much to our surprise, beautiful renovations. Transitioning from Christmas to V-day. First drinks Eggnog old fashioned & white Winter Mojito – not disappointed, Delicious! Special Steam-pot- potatoes, sausage, I’m sure more than 1# shrimp & 2 snow crab legs. Cocktails continued to Spicy Sweet Grinch & decaf coffee w/ a special shot. Barb was great! Checking on us & making sure we were ok. When asked about GF options…. Breading on deep fried shrimp, bourbon BBQ sauce, cauliflower crust pizza, mango habanero sauce all GF + GF roll option. Bang Bang shrimp sauce changed out for GF option. Noticed they have trivia night & dessert drink options. Not sure what expectation we had, but they were exceeded! Didn’t get to liquor store to see touted Bourbon selection next time! 5+ rating on service, food & prices! Can’t wait to go back!

Ordered lunch over the phone, waiting 20 minutes as advised. No other food orders ahead of me. Kitchen staff was preoccupied with her smartphone and didn’t even put my steak sandwich on the grill until I arrived. Now I have 5 minutes to eat my lunch before my break is over. Won’t be back.

So this had to be one of the worst experiences I ever had now I can understand you guys are short-staffed but wow our server only came to our table twice within 2 hours enough to give us our first drink and then give us our food she never came back to even asked us if we wanted another drink or if we even wanted water now I paid over 50 something today for food that was really not that good but I didn’t complain because we couldn’t even find the waitress to even get it situated is terrible when I’m eating my fries and grease is pouring out and then we wanted to drink another drink we were going to buy a different drink because I didn’t like the one I bought but we couldn’t find nobody to even come back to our table so while you were over there smiling and laughing with the people at the bar you neglected your tables so if she was wondering why we did not leave her a tip that’s why ma’am you didn’t even check on us or do anything to even see if we needed anything else you basically only came at the beginning and then at the end we didn’t even get to get a second drink in or nothing and it’s what’s bad is when two tables were trying to flag her down to get their check and we were the only two tables in there it was people at the bar and two tables that’s it that’s sad as s***I’m kind of bummed that I wasted so much money tonight the best thing I had tonight was the crab pretzel which is always been good but I was so upset about the service

When the service is only one person behind bar . She left us waiting until the next shift arrived. Then, we were able to give orders, to be left, and we were waiting on ourselves. After food arrived..

Love the feel of the small town atmosphere. Crab cakes are awesome and at an affordable price point. The most appealing part for me is the Beer and Liquor store attached to the restaurant. One of the best stocked bourbon selections in this area of southern PA and Northern MD. Always a pleasure to visit and try new items. Staff is great and pleasant.
