I would of loved this to be a better experience but it wasn’t. I love the concept of BBQ to go. Last night I got the XL family pack. They were out of all sausages ok no problem I will order something else. Out of rolls. I could get 4 but would have to wait 8 minutes to get another 4. ( 8 comes with order) They said I could have another side instead. I opted for the green beans but they looked like complete mush. I ordered another mac and cheese. After I get home there is no BBQ sauce on the food or in the bag. Did they forget to give me sauce? Was I suppose to request it?

So disappointing. The portions were generous. The Cole slaw was good and so was the soup. The ribs were tough and below average. The grilled crab sandwich was cold inside and flavorless. The pie might as well have been a frozen pie. The corn was flavorless. The baked beans were ok. The service was good.

Dickey’s may be a chain operation that lacks some of the attention to detail or unique flavor of a mom and pop BBQ, it is always a solid meal. Smokiness of meats is about average; you’re not basically eating a hickory stick.
