After many years of planning, Sabor MX officially opened on February 2015. Five years later, in 2020, they reinvented their menu and changed their name to Sabor Cocina Latina & Bar. In 2023, Sabor Cocina moved to a new location in North Fresno. They serve a modern take on dishes and cocktails from Central and South America. The new location has an inviting fresh atmosphere and showcases one-of-a-kind art pieces from various parts of Mexico and hand painted murals from a local artist. Their new menu inludes a variety of new dishes and cocktails with something special for everyone.

Food was not very good. Some what of an odd menu. Definitely overpriced and plenty of Latin food options in Fresno that are more authentic and flavorful. I ordered the enchiladas Verdes and the chicken was overcooked and dry. Wouldn’t recommend. The service is not great either but they do demand a 20% tip. Will not be returning.

Beautiful place to sit and have a fresh tasty dinner or lunch. Great place to have a drink. We had the mango shrimp ceviche that was so delicious and fresh! Also had the queso empanadas, so tasty. I had a Paloma and a blood orange margaritas. The margarita was my favorite, sweet but not too sweet. A bit pricy but everything was excellent!

What an absolutely wonderful place. Atmosphere was nice, food was awesome, and service was great(wish I could remember our server’s name, she was delightful) . We had a party if 4 adults, took my wife’s friend and my friend, for her friends birthday. So we spent a little more than we normally would on any other normal night. Came out to $200 including a generous tip. The portions weren’t huge but were plenty. We ordered some empanadas for appetizers and some drinks from the bar. The mango magarita was very good. My friend and I just had a beer a piece while the girls had margaritas. The empanadas were delicious, some of the best I’ve had only made tastier with the dipping sauces they came with.
