Service was excellent, I had the beef fajitas, my mom had the beef taco salad, and we had an appetizer of the cheese dip with the chorizo, I cannot recall what the name of it was. All of that was brought in a timely manner, and was excellent! I had a margarita, and it was the best margarita I’ve had in my entire life. And I have drank a shameful amount of margaritas in my life. I would highly recommend El Nopal if you want to have an excellent meal, and some really good drinks!

I would give it 5 stars for freshness of food, however A chimmichanga tastes the same to me as a burrito, so I am not a good judge of the food taste. I usually order shrimp fajitas or taco salad w/ground beef, and a Margaurita w/salt on the rocks.

So this is the only Mexican joint in the area. So they seem to have cornered that market. The food was actually pretty good. The service was nice and personable. In comparison to some finer restaurants in kansas city with the same style, it is a little lackluster. But for this area, go for it.
