My friend placed a takeout order and when we got there to pick it up, found out that they have a recently given B rating. So we looked it up on Pitt County sanitation grades, and found out why and it’s very disgusting. She asked for a refund and was refused by the employee who was very rude the whole time, and even though she didn’t leave the restaurant with the food, again they refused. It was also extremely overpriced $8.29 for 4 chicken wings. This is unacceptable and will be reported further. Do NOT recommend.

I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again because delivered foods was not as tasty as I thought it would be. I order steamed dumplings because China King steamed dumpling are so delicious, so I thought I would try steamed dumplings from another restaurant to see if theirs good as China King. My answer is no because Lam’s steamed dumpling were too doughy and big while China King steamed dumplings are thin and delightful every bits. I will keep ordering from China King until a chinese restaurant can beat them. Lam’s Garden your foods was okay because I did order the healthy chicken with veggies. That was very delicious to me but still it is not worth or enough for me to order from you again. Check the pictures out of my doughy steamed dumplings and check out the pictures from China King steamed dumplings, a complete difference. There was white with the steamed chicken and veggies which was tasty eating along with the chicken and veggies. Also there’s sauce with the chicken and veggies as well which has no taste at all. That place is VERY RUDE ! Ordered spicy Buffalo wings & when I got home it was not Buffalo it was bbq ! Called & lady said come tomorrow & we will give you another order. When I went up there they wouldn’t give me my food or my money back. They never said anything about bringing the food back which I had thrown away. The man that works there threatened to call the police on me for wanting my food back. Every time I go there the lady working there is always very rude to me & always has an attitude. Never ever experienced something like this at any restaurant I’ve ever went to. If I were you I’d go somewhere else like bamboo garden.

I just left this restaurant. I placed two orders which barely had any shrimp. The lady that took my order tone was very nasty (attitude). It wasn’t the first time I felt this way and I only visited the place twice. I felt a certain racial tone towards me. I think she should work on her tone towards black customers. Her tone is not very welcoming.

I am a fan of spicy foods and love it when food has a kick. I have gone to many Chinese spots and I have never been so mistreated like I was by the lady working the register. I haven’t come here for a while because this is an ongoing occurrence and I wanted to see if it was still a problem. I clearly told the lady I wanted extra hot sauce because they keep the sauces behind the counter. She only put three packets in my bag. I try and get her attention to get more packets and all of sudden she can’t hear me or understand me. She acts like she can’t understand me and tries to ignore what I asked for and she finally remarks back and she speaks perfect English like she did when she took my order and told me ” that she gave me some, why would I need more” I shouldn’t have to explain myself about my food preferences to an establishment that is already over priced. She tried to charge me 1$ more for more sauce packets. Every place I’ve gone, the sauces have been open to the people. The fact that they need to all the money they can. Food isn’t even good. I won’t be going back.
