Restaurant was clean, table was clean and fresh. Service was below average. Waited a good twenty minutes for refill on chips/salsa. Food was warm at best. My street taco plate was poor all the way around. Cold tortillas, cold meat. Beans, and rice both tasted like they were out of a can???? All four of our plates resembled what I described about my meal. Not impressed,,, and expensive for the quantity.

Great food, staff, and great atmosphere. My first time going and I’m hesitant on trying new place because they always disappoint in some way, but I like the service today. Now, it may not be like that every time, but it was a good first experience. I would recommend trying it at least once.

I liked all the food except for the red sauce that was served with the complimentary chips. I liked the beans but not the way they served the bacon pieces in it. I liked the rice and it was nice to have a portion of lettuce on the plate. Overall, I will eat here again. Sweet tea was good. I ordered the cheese queso as a dip for the chips. It was really good. I want to try a beef taco next with the rice. The rice was delicious as I love rice. I think it has the best tasting rice I have ever tasted.

This used to be a Mamarita’s location. They have made some good positive changes – now have actual large menu and wait staff. Food was good and plentiful. Wait staff was pleasant although a little unfamiliar with the menu. Kitchen was slow compared to the number of people in the building. Will probably go back and give them another try in the future…

Man I am sick of dealing with this place, this use to be my go to spot to get everyone in the shop breakfast burritos & pancakes. We had been ordering here religiously everyday for months until all of sudden they ran out of pancake mix. We would call in every day for a month order burritos and we’re told every day they were out of pancake mix. After a month we just stopped asking. But would it kill someone to go and just get some pancake mix? Why have it on the menu if you’re not going to serve it? And then just today I called in super last minute at 10:59 (they stop breakfast at 11) to order burritos and was told it couldn’t be done, that they had put their breakfast stuff away already. Um what?? A burrito is tortilla, egg, bacon, cheese, & potatoes. Like the simplest most common ingredients and I’m suppose to believe you can’t make anymore because you “put them away.” I’ve just never seen such a nonchalant, unmotivated and uncaring restaurant. Most places would order pancake mix right away the moment someone asked for some and they didn’t have any. Most places would let you slide a minute after breakfast cut off for the simplest breakfast item menu available. I just can’t and will not support this restaurant that has no customer service skills or loyalty. Oh and their new location is absolutely terrible, the owner needs to focus on bettering home base before he tries to expand.

It was one of the worst experiences. Overpriced for what you get. I think the chicken in my chimi was from a can. Fajita nachos barely any meat, and a very small portion for $12. The combo Fajita plate barely enough for two tortillas and so burnt it tasted like char.

The food here is by far some of the best Mexican food in Lubbock Texas. The price is phenomenal Nancy our waitress was also phenomenal. If you don’t eat anywhere else in Lubbock, you have to come and eat here dollar tacos on Tuesdays are so underpriced. This place is amazing all the way around. I’m so glad that moody told us to come here.

First time I had been in this place and I Loved it. I will definitely be back and definitely recommend it. I had chicken fajitas and they were very tasty. Tortilla was a little on hard side but the rest made up for it and then some. Gotta try it.
