First time eating here. Had the cedar planked steelhead. WOW. See the photo of the plate included. We will definitely be back. Of interest to me is the gluten free bin option for their burger fare.

FYI, Blackdog refers to the Led Zeppelin song… Delicious drinks and food. Victoria is an amazing mixologist! My stroganoff with brisket was delish. My wife’s rib bowl was excellent! All the specialty drinks were great! The traditional whisky sour with egg whites… Amazing! The sazerac drink, superb. Asked Victoria for a drink off the cuff, she asked my likes and served me an amazing drink. The price was higher than usual because we had several delicious drinks UPDATE: we went back again last night and had a great experience again. The staff are so friendly and helpful and fun. Had the brisket and macaroni and cheese, AMAZING! I will go back for that for sure . It was so good! Other bartenders made great drinks, too.

This place has some delicious food. Our server Logan was simply fantastic. Good sense of humor, courteous, prompt, took care of us without lingering or hovering. Food was great. The chocolate cake was delicious without being overly rich.

Let me start by saying we found this place by complete accident. (It’s located in the same parking lot as the Forest Grove liquor store. The food was absolutely incredible and the ambiance is so comforting! Out server Sandra was hands down one of the nicest servers I’ve ever talked with. She makes you feel comfortable and is always checking on you. Thank you Sandra! We are actually going back tonight for the bomb diggity wings, parmesan garlic fries and cinnamon ice cream!

We just got home from Black Dog. We hadn’t tried it out yet. Our meal was outstanding! We had the Rib Eye steak and the Fish and Chips. Our waitress was the best that we have ever had. She was cheerful and she checked in with us several times. We will be back!

The food was super bland and the condiments were left empty. I was never offered any BBQ sauce with my bbq dish. This experience was not good. I’m not going to be returning. The waiter didn’t seem phased or apologetic when I told him about the food being gross. The female bartender was okay. Tried to correct me on a menu item that was clearly stated as black berry not black cherry. Very displeased with this establishment.

The food was great. Good West Coast BBQ. Absolutely nothing like Southern BBQ but still good in its own right. I ordered a double 1/2 pound burger and asked for medium rare, and I received well done. That was my only complaint. It was a huge burger. I highly recommend a single 1/2 pound patty. The service was awesome!
