Lazy Bear continues to up their game. This was my fourth visit and it was magnificent.. The food was impeccable. The beauty and detail in each presentation were second only to the flavor. Everything perfectly prepared and perfectly presented. The wine pairing this evening was also spot on…. The food, the wine and the service continue to improve …. Could a third star be on the horizon? Maybe? They are absolutely killing it right now.

Great food, atmosphere and outstanding staff. Our tasting menu was heavy on seafood which I typically don’t love, but they knocked every dish out of the park. Our favorite was a spicy margarita oyster – never heard of such a concept but it was delicious. Would highly recommend!

Amazing food and service! I absolutely love the pea dish, the halibut, and the wagyu. They truly capture the authentic flavors of their ingredients, which was a delightful surprise. I’m a big fan of this natural, nostalgic style of cooking, especially since many of the ingredients are gathered from the wild.

I finally ticked Lazy Bear, one of San Francisco’s most highly-regarded Michelin 2-star restaurants, off my bucket list. The overall experience was a bit of a let down, with the atmosphere surpassing the culinary offerings, leaving me feeling slightly unsatisfied and craving mcdonalds afterwards 🙁

Lazy bear opened my eyes to just how good food can really be. Amazing and exciting dishes that I’ll never forget. Service is also perfect, as expected of a fine dining restaurant. Can’t wait to come back.

This establishment has become my absolute favorite dining destination. Each dish is thoughtfully presented, showcasing the journey of its ingredients from their origins to the final creation. On this visit, the theme centered around foraging for unique ingredients, and every dish – from the meat to the tea – was executed flawlessly. Opting for the wine pairing only served to elevate the entire experience.

This place was so spectacular! Everything about the experience is so well curated that it feels like you are experiencing theater. The music choices, the plating, the servers and how they deliver and explain your meals, the drink pairing, the log cabin/camping aesthetic and of the dining room some of the plates left me MAD at the realization that food could be that good. Cannot recommend this place enough. Good luck finding the bear on the wall

Truly outstanding experience! The food was delicious, the service was warm and friendly, but what stood out to me the most was that the food was unique. It definitely pushed the boundaries of what I am used to. It was really awesome to see my 13-year-old son trying beef tartare! The dishes are absolutely beautiful. And not to rave about something so mundane, but the butter is delicious, I want to eat it everyday! It is worth the money, so treat yourself and come here on a special occasion.

I can’t believe I finally made it out to the famous Lazy Bear – I waited eagerly on 10/17/22 to get my 11/4 reservation for my partner’s birthday and was super happy I got to go.
