Parking is a bit on the limited side…we drove to the sandy side and parked there. They did have the a/c blasting while you were waiting in line to order, so bring a sweater. The restaurant is a bit on the chilly side but refreshing.

Tired the Flan Factory today 8/6/2023 and was very impressed. The person whom answered the phone was very friendly and great at taking the order. Upon arrival, although it is very long, they had a very good sized parking lot. When you enter, you can smell the pleasant aroma of the cuisine. I had done a to-go order and it was ready in the 15-20 minutes that I was quoted. I live about 15 minutes away and it was still very hot when I got home. I did just get a basic steak and cheese plain so I am sure if I had allowed them to put the other flavors on, it would have been even better! The food was tasty, the service was great and the atmosphere was good so I would definitely return again!

I came here two times, both were great. This time, I had the South Tampa salmon sandwich and the pistachio flan, I’d recommend both. We also tried the plantain chips and really liked it. The art is nice, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable. Last year, it felt like it was too small for their popularity. They have since expanded, now they have an extra room. However, the place was still packed, so I believe they have a big potential to expand to a more spacious location because they are so great.

This was our first time trying here. I knew they were famous for their Cuban sandwich, and it lived up to its reputation. The bread was soft yet firm; pressed perfectly. The meat was fresh and tasty. We also got the plantain chips and enjoyed them as well. Besides their Cuban sandwich, they have at least a dozen other sandwiches to choose from. They have twenty or more choices of flan toppings, and we tried the salted caramel. Everyone was very friendly, adding to the experience.

Wow! This is a must. From the moment we walked in everyone was extremely pleasant. The owners mom is a gem. And the food, just was amazing. Especially the guava sauce w/fried cheese, the cilantro aioli sauce is a 10. The Cubans are the best! The pork was cooked to perfection! The flan is off the charts amazing! We arrived about 45 minutes before closing and they never rushed us or made us feel like we needed to hurry. Just know they close at 8pm. But this is a must try place. Thank you so much for an amazing experience on our way out of FL to TX.

The best hidden gem in all of Tampa! It’s my go-to place when I crave a pressed sandwich and the horchata coffee is heaven in a cup! The staff is always so nice and at your service, I cannot recommend Flan Factory enough! Delivery never disappoints either, the standards do not lower when preparing your order like most places -the same quality you get in-house is the same mouth watering quality you get delivered to your door.

The fact that it was hard to decide what to order at a place that won an award for the world’s best Cuban sandwich speaks volumes to how great this menu is! We ended up getting the Cuban (El Tampeno) and their po-boy (Island Boy) and they were phenomenal. The ham croquetas were easily the best I’ve ever personally had. At the recommendation of the staff, I combined the hibiscus and passion fruit juice and it was great – a little too sweet for me so I did take it home and mix it with water.

Where to begin. We ordered the Timba to start… it was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. The cheese was cooked to perfection and complimented the guava sauce. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and my boyfriend order the La Havana Frita. They were so delicious. My boyfriend said it was the best burger he had in a long time. We finished with Olga’s Flan. So rich, creamy and delicious. The customer service was phenomenal, making suggestions and were so kind. Can’t wait to bring other to experience this goodness!

This place is a Tampa Gem! My wife is Hispanic and I’m a midwestern white guy and she has introduced me to all of the flavors of Cuban food over many years. We decided to try this place today after seeing them on Instagram and they are a genuine 10/10. We tried the original Cuban, the ham croquetta Cuban, and the original flan. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were all very friendly, and the restaurant is incredibly clean. I will definitely be back ASAP on my cheat meal days!

The place is cozy, with about 5 or 6 tables with a bar for 4 or 5 inside and 3 or 4 tables outside. There was a short line when I got there, but it wasn’t too long of a wait for a table or for my takeout order. The staff was very friendly. It has a very welcoming atmosphere.
