On our way to IKEA Emeryville, we decided to have brunch first. Checked out trusty old Yelp and The Sunday popped up. And let me tell you, I can’t speak highly enough of it! The lemon ricotta pancakes were fluffy and so good I devoured them in minutes. The fried chicken wings were outstanding. We preferred the soy garlic wings over the spicy Korean style wings, which IMO were over sauced with sweet chili sauce. Despite the modest size of the place, they offer outside seating. And if you’re a spice enthusiast, they offer an impressive selection of hot sauces. Definitely worth a visit!

Loved Sunday’s style Asian Fusion Food. Delicious and a breath of fresh cooking. Bulgogi Eggs Benedict and Locomoco was impressive. Many of their other dishes looks fantastic. Highly recommend Sunday and get their early as seating is limited. Host is very accommodating a plus when waiting.

Saturday brunch: Close to hour wait and not sure if it’s worth it. Service was nice but didn’t come around that much as they were really busy and it was like maybe 2 servers doing all the tables. Although it is a really small place so you might have to get cozy with your neighbors and be a part of their conversation.

Been here twice now and everything we’ve had were so good! We DID come back for the bulgogi tots – extra crispy, chicken Wings, and tried pancake this time. Fluffy and delish. The Loco moco we had last time was also scrumptious. Whatever you get, it won’t disappoint. It gets crowded on the weekends, though, so come early or prepare to wait. The space is quaint so not toooooo many seats. Can’t wait to be back!

We absolutely loved the Sunday! It was a quaint little shop on Adeleine with street parking, but great service and great food! I got their French toast with eggs and bacon (the French toast was super heavy, but so good). He got their chicken sandwich which was perfectly balanced with really good sauce! We also got their bulgolgi tots which actually was so large we couldn’t finish so we took them home, which was also good later! I can’t wait to come back to try other things on the menu

We went for the first time. The food was very good and the service was good as well. The only problem for us was that it is a really small place! We will be going again soon!

If this restaurant gets organized, they could do well. We went to The Sunday on a Sunday and we were met with a 1.5h long wait, which was made possible by inefficient seating, short staffing, and a frenetic pace of service. The hostess was also the only waitress. There was a constant line out the door from the time we arrived to close.

Found this last moment when setting up a gathering with an out of town friend. Food was so so good! Lemon ricotta pancakes off the chart. Need to work on the coffee if you’re only offering drip coffee. Tight space and hard to hear at times.
