We visited for my father and mother’s birthday. We let the restaurant know ahead of time and made reservations online where we notified them that it was their birthdays. Upon our arrival we checked in and were seated fairly quickly. Service was unfortunately poor. The waitress was on her third day of serving and had nobody helping her. We were asked our orders twice. We were not asked if we wanted the larger small portion of appetizers but were brought the smalls. Dinner was subpar. My mother’s meal was pork and she enjoyed it but the fish tasted like it was frozen. We each asked for specialty parmesan fries and received two orders of french fries. One was regular and one was parmesan and we were missing an order. We noticed that we were missing an order and we let the waitress know. We waited about 15 minutes and no fries were brought out. At that point we just settled for the fact that we were not going to receive them and as long as we were not billed from them that it would be fine. Our waitress forgot to ask us for bread and offered it to us after we finished our main dishes. It was such a disappointment. For four people and one glass of alcohol it cost $160. The food was subpar, the management was not attentive, and we were overall disappointed. We have dined at grillsmith in a different town in Florida before and we were really impressed so we were disappointed to know that our local chain was not at the same level of quality or service.

I went here for my birthday dinner & I was very pleased. Staff were very nice & our server Michelle was great and gave us some recommendations & also helped with any questions we had. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, I got the chocolate Marshmallow martini & I also got complimentary dessert and decided on the key lime pie which was delicious 🙂 The pictures don’t do enough justice! We definitely will be returning!

Reserved for a birthday party of 11. Bill ended up being $547. Server never cleared our table from our old drinks to salad plates to 7 appetizer with 11 small plates. Messed up two of the peoples ordered. Had to go to bar to get server to get more drinks. 2 people at the bar and 3 tables in entire restaurant on a Saturday night and we couldn’t get service. They never said happy birthday. They automatically added the tip (big mistake). I would have tipped more. Not going back. 3rd strike, you’re out!

Kyle our waiter was fantastic and the food was great. Awful management, was promised a coupon was valid over the phone after very specifically asking about it. Of course when we went it didn’t work and the manager, Al, was completely unwilling to hear about it, dismissive of my wife and didn’t resolve the issue. Totally soured what was otherwise a wonderful dinner.

This restaurant is very good for service, price and service. There’s a long bar and large dining room, and its not overly crowded or noisy. Would recommend for brunch and dinner. For vegetarians, they have a delicious bean burger. Also, the portions are better than average. A dependable local restaurant that doesn’t disappoint.

Came here for my moms birthday dinner, we loved it! We were visiting Sarasota for the weekend and didn’t realize we needed a reservation almost everywhere we called. Found this spot on maps and we were so happy with this decision. I ordered the salmon with jasmin rice, delicious! My mom and boyfriend got some steaks and they were very happy with their meals. Our waiter was also kind and kept up with our table even after being their for awhile. Drinks, food, dessert 10/10 highly recommend.

Have eaten here several times in past 2 years. Food and alcohol drink quality is consistent. I recommend any of the steaks for main entree. Always cooked as ordered, tender and good flavor. Good variety of side dishes. Server Danny is outstanding at multitasking and very friendly without being intrusive. Ambient music is usually a bit loud. This makes diners raise their own volume, so intimate conversation is all but impossible. We usually just eat and leave instead of staying to have dessert, coffee or more drinks due to the noise level. Otherwise the dining area is comfortable and clean.
