This place was such a bomb restaurant. The food is GOOD. The horchata was HUGE and yummy. The tacos the guac! And the chips were warm! The owners/staff were so kind and warm. I would go back to this place whenever I’m next in Jersey!

This is a tiny hole-in-the wall place with the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere is no frills but its clean and tidy. They put more effort into their delicoius food. The restaurant’s name says it all. Its authentic! Tacos with homemade tortillas. Homemade red and green sauce so good they could bottle and sell retail. The street corn is to die for!

Go here!!! This place was such a find. My niece and I were shopping and she asked if we could get lunch. We got super lucky – La Autentica Mexican Grill happened to be right in front of us. The place looks like a convenience store but don’t be fooled by appearances – inside are real street tacos, super delicious! The very nice owner and his wife located from a bordertown in Texas to Ocean City, so again this is the real deal. My niece, who is from Arizona and is particular about her tacos, absolutely loved them as well. This place was also written up by the food critic of the Philadelphia Inquirer, in case you need extra incentive!

Authentic and DELICIOUS!!! I had the wet burrito with chicken and it was the tastiest burrito I’ve ever had! The cheese sauce had just the right amount of kick to it & was very filling. If you’re looking for good Mexican food from a genuine family that put their love and care into what they cook, then you have to come here!

We had the tacos de birria and the wet burrito tonight along with the hibiscus water. Everything was absolutely delicious! Juan was a phenomenal waiter who explained the difference between the food items. It is a family owned business and it’s like having mama cook for you! If you are in the area, definitely give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!
