I just had the best lunch at bistro Habanero. It’s close to my office and this spot has been a reliably delicious option for years! My meal today was the pechuga de pollo asado plate, but in the past my go to has been the ensalada habanero. Their burritos, tacos, tamales and pupusas are also delicious. I’m so glad this restaurant exists!

Verseless Cooking
Birria tacos not a lot to say about these. Full of flavor, tasty stuff. The service was quick, and when I asked for a suggestion, I was pleased with the recommendation and am certainly not disappointed. A great little restaurant that I’ll absolutely go to again for sure.

I ordered a breakfast burrito online and there was no option to add salsa or jalapeños so I added it to the notes. Burrito had no jalapeños, came with no salsa, but had a bag of chips? Why would you include chips with no salsa? The burrito definitely needed salsa.

03.21.23- tried again today after calling ahead and service was perfect and food was amazing as always. They definitely have taken some things to heart and made some changes for the better. Leaving my original review content as contrast. —-Second time ordering shrimp and getting fish. Bring it up to the kid at the counter and he argues with me. I actually only go for the salsa and the tortilla soup but the last time I was told they were out and this time I was told that they only have it seasonally. I guess maybe I will be back next “season” then… maybe…. Contrary to their response- I called today and was told by the person answering the phone and when asked about your tortilla soup I was told that “we don’t have it” and was told that they don’t have it because “we don’t need it right now”. Well, if thenowner says you have it year round and it’s still on your menu and people are ordering it, it would make sense that you need it.

Nice spot for lunch. Close to REMSA for those taking classes. I wanted the carnitas fries, but they were out. They substituted street tacos and a house taco & threw in some desert. The food was delicious.
