This was my first visit to That’s Amore. The food was great and the service was also. We were seated immediately as we walked in. I had the Ceasar and vegetables. They were cooked and seasoned very well. My son had the Salmon and Shrimp dish. He enjoyed every single bite. He even suggested I would’ve loved it to had I not been vegetarian. I tried the Spinach and potatoes on his dish and I must say it was tasty. The only thing I would change is the temperature. I was very cold in the restaurant, even after I got my jacket out of the car to put on. It would also be nice if they add a few more vegetarian options. Other than that, it was a good experience!!

So the food is serious good..Calamari and ceaser salad is a must. That pork chop of theirs is a top 10. Peroni on tap is Michael Scott level classey. Staff is lovely and so very attentive. Can’t wait to come back.

Everything was delicious and served on time. Only complaint and it is minor is that the Caesar salad dressing was too much. The mussels in my dish were overcooked. I still believe this is a must go place. Went back tonight and had the Red Snapper and Chicken Picatta. What a great place.

The food is good! Nice environment and good service. Also, have all you can eat bread. The prices are a bit higher than some other places but definitely worth the trip on a special occasion

Went here for a late lunch and received some fabulous service. The food was delicious especially the stuffed mushrooms. Need to come back and try the pizza!

My husband and I went to That’s Amore for our first date night post baby. We ordered the arancini and fried calamari. Both were decent. The calamari could have been a little more tender but overall good. My husband ordered the short rib bolognese and we were surprised to see it look like ground beef. Maybe it was ground short ribs. Either way it was good. The sauce had a hint of sweetness. I got the Parmesan crusted chicken with roma sauce. I got 3 pieces of chicken breast and a small serving of pasta. It was good, even though I would have preferred more pasta. I also ordered the Caesar salad and I thought it was delicious. The service was slow but we weren’t in a rush. Overall we will likely go back and try some new things! I’d recommend

A hidden gem in Indian Land, That’s Amore offers an impressive collection of dishes and spirits at a reasonable price. The bread crumbed, fried rice ball topped with cheese and tomato sauce is a carbolicious wonder that I’ve never tasted anywhere else. Shirley Temples are available (they aren’t everywhere!) for the kiddos, and the bar is stocked for adulting. A great stop if you’re in this neck of the woods, no matter what the occasion!

Food was mediocre at best. For cheese on chicken parm, seems like they took a prepackaged square slice (not fresh or even shredded mozzarella) and just let it (partially) cook on top. We had our two young daughters there and they played music that was explicit and said the “F” word. And they added a $2.50 charge for using credit card. (Not sure if they told people in advance on the menu but we didn’t see it and waitress didn’t say anything). As we were leaving, I told my 3 year old daughter to remember the dinner…because we were never going back there again.

Fantastic food. Very great staff. Came in late on Sunday and Dawn took great care of us. Food was still very well made and everyone at our table was treated wonderfully. I would recommend this place to anyone in Ballantyne/ Fort Mill looking for Italian food.

This place used to be better. When it first opened it was outstanding. Maybe it’s because it was so unique to the area when it opened. The food is good but nothing to rave about. The basket of bread came and there were only two pieces. Given the prices of the restaurant it would be nice to get more than two pieces of bread. The calamari was very good because it’s easy to screw up calamari so they figured that out. There’s not a lot of Italian places in the area so we keep it in the rotation but usually find ourselves going there if we can’t get a table at The Butcher next door. It’s ok. Three stars.
