Been to this location three times now, all during the week. Never had to wait for a table, fast service. Food was excellent each time. Thankfully the draft beer selection isn’t dominated by IPA’s like so many of the trendy “local” places are. The only reason I gave four stars and not five is the manager never came around. Inexcusable considering the dining room was far less than half full at dinner time.

excellent food! Even though we arrived during a rush period, we didn’t have much of a wait. Management seemed a bit unfriendly to the staff, but many of the servers were standing around, some behaving inappropriately, not assisting the servers that were busy and rushing around.

Our server was FLAWLESS. The initial limes for my iced tea, not so much. A few things muffed on my order, but not Nicole’s fault at all. Meat was delicious, order served timely. We’ll be back for more meaty delights, and hoping for Nicole again!

Loved it! I believe what we got was called the feast for two, it was their chicken, ribs, (we chose brisket over their pork), cornbread (my favorite cornbread), fries, beans, corn and coleslaw. Service was fantastic, present but not overbearing. Ribs were so good: meaty, juicy, more of a carmalized sauce than a bark but their sauce is awesome and they don’t use too much of it. Chicken was everything but dry and spoke for itself, most places seem to over season to make up for drying it out. Ended up with plenty of leftovers I was able to stretch for a couple extra meals the next day! I look forward to my next visit!

We have been eagerly awaiting the opening of Famous Dave’s. Today was our first visit and since it was a special day (hubby’s birthday) we went for the Feast for two. All of the food (ribs, chicken, cut pork, corn on the cob, potato wedges, baked beans, coleslaw and corn meal muffins) was great – just too much for us two. We brought home two big to go containers, enough for two more meals at home. The service and atmosphere (lots of auto-related stuff on the walls, kind of loud music) was also great.

Love this place! They are by far the best BBQ joint in the Lansing area. Theie staff is amazing and they have foods you would not expect. If I am not in a BBQ mood, I go for their Cajin Chicken Sandwich or Salmon Spread. The Burnt Ends and Ribs are to die for. Can’t say enough great things about FD…they are the best!

Came to lunch for my birthday with my sister and we ended up eating alone because the cook messed up my burger how hard is it to cook one very well done. So cook needed to remake burger and it took forever. She was finished before i even got an estimated time. Manager didnt want to nothing. Will be call corporate to let them know their manager on sunday april 24 2016 is ruining the Famous Dave brand. I will not return to this location.

Great food, poor greeting staff. My wife was asked if she wanted a kids menu. Even though we had already said just two of us and no kids were in sight. We walked out right after that, just feeling upset and dissaponted. Our date night ruined because of poor hosting staff.
