Our family of 5 showed up around 3pm so it was pretty dead; only two other groups. We were not greeted and had to ask if we were supposed to seat ourselves. The waitress was very friendly but we felt completely ignored after our drinks were brought out and we had the chance to look over the menu. She and the other ladies working chatted it up while we sat and sat waiting to give our order. The food came out fast and was alright but once again we ended up waiting while everyone giggled and talked and took selfies before asking if we needed boxes or a check. One of them also stated out loud, next to our table that the ketchup bottles needed refills while i struggled to get some out of our bottle and the other acknowledged it and continued to stand there. We didn’t feel taken care of the way that you do at other restaurants.

I simply cannot say how wonderful everything about this experience was. A group of extended family from 5 states and 4 generations came together to enjoy drinks and lunch. Trish? and one other server, plus kitchen staff were able to accommodate nearly 30 people (we expected 15). Everyone in our group was well taken care of from drinks to apps and entrees. We were fairly disorganized in terms of ordering beverages but the Abbey team was on top of it. Taking individual orders, dealing with dietary restrictions and then serving all meals within 10 minutes of one another with only one minor hiccup was fantastic! The food was exceptional from bacon wrapped scallops to the hot prime rib sandwich. There was no rush put on us and we felt like valued guests. The warm feeling all left with was followed by compliments to the gatherings organizers for selecting such a perfect spot for our special family event. Thank you to everyone from the Abbey Pub and Restaurant.

I came in earlier tonight. Sat down at the bar. Was not greeted. There were two waitresses talking outside the kitchen door. Two more waitresses walked over and started talking to the two waitresses, who had been talking. There were two customers waiting at the bar waiting to order and another customer at the bar waiting for his check. Some people walked in and sat a table and all the witnesses hovered over that table. I guess if you’re not a regular your not noticed. I had been sitting at the bar waiting for some service and after several minutes I walked out and went somewhere else. I was greeted, served, and treated as normal when you walk into a restaurant. I would not recommend The Abbey Restaurant.

We went here out of the blue, first location and outside area both beautiful. Inside a bit different than what you would expect, the venue area is perfect for any occasion seriously!! The bar area a bit small, has game table room that you can close off, bathroom clean, service was on point. Food needs seasoning, but was good. Drinks are priced well.

Ate from the Age Well menu: burger in a bun and lettuce and onion and tomato. A glass of water with two lemon slices Very good and so was the conversation with the server and another guy !

Food was super tasty and the staff was very nice. Definitely make a reservation if you plan on going on the weekend. The only thing I didn’t like was the to-go containers. They are flimsy metal tins with no structure and I immediately dropped my leftovers on the ground outside and was very sad. Other than that great place! Will definitely be back when family is in town!

The only waitress. She had a baby shower group,she was the bartender, and she did all the pub area and she did this with a smile. Her coworkers all called in. I hope the owner give her something special for what she did. She deserves a raise. She deserves some kind of recognition. They are lucky to have such a special person to work for them.
