Their ribs are fantastically moist and delicious!!! Take note, I do not like ribs I had eaten from different ribs cages here and abroad. Billy’s is phenomenal and worth our long hours of drive (got hungry along the way) and would RECOMMEND for y’all to try and enjoy their awesome ribs!!!

Spending the night in Durant Oklahoma, wanted to stay away from regular places. Saw this was close by, glad I found it. Friendly staff right when I walked in. Helped me with making choices. Had brisket, jalapeno and cheese sausage, Mac/cheese, beans, toast, tea. Good sized portions, more than anticipated. The meats were tasty and well cooked. Mac/cheese and beans were ok, nothing fancy. Really glad I went . Large portions, reasonable prices. Less than $18.00

I ordered the three meat combo and got brisket ribs and sausage. The brisket was very dry the sausage was good but nothing fancy but the ribs absolutely save the whole plate the ribs were very good and I would go back for the ribs only their mac and cheese was the heat up quick microwave deli kind. And I kind of found it odd that they gave us our drinks and plastic cups.

The staff was very nice and friendly they’re mac and cheese tasted like a deli or Stouffer’s heat up mac and cheese. The brisket was dry. The ribs though were absolutely phenomenal they saved the entire plate.

Spent more than I thought but it was worth the food tastiness. Like the subway of BBQ but better meats. The sides were indeed hot and fresh. Chairs were good. Just the right comfortable. Feels kinda cozy but sporty and a bit like a museum vibe. A place you can learn about while earning a feel welcomed.

Sadly we have to rate this place 2* because it has slipped that far in the three years we have been in Durant. When we moved to Durant in 2019 this BBQ restaurant was the best! We used to take all our out of town visitors to eat at Billy Sims BBQ. The last few times we have been in the restaurant is near empty, the staff is slow and not customer service oriented. Today’s visit will be the last until we see some changes. Today we phoned in a order for 2 Sandwich plates, the person taking the order was rude, argued with me over menu items, would not take my name and when my husband got back with our order there was no BBQ sauce with our sandwiches, both were so dry it was like eating saw dust. I called the restaurant to remind them not to send out take out orders with no sauce and no cutlery for the sides. Again, rudeness. They got the last money they will get from us, not because the food was bad but because of the people working there who do not pay attention, are argumentative and rude. There’s probably a reason the parking lot is always empty. Hopefully the owner will see this and make proper corrections to the staff.

Hands down! Best Barbecue I’ve ever had from a restaurant! I’m normally not a big bbq fan but we were in Durant to gamble and my husband brought this back to our room. It was perfect! We had brisket (perfectly cooked and not over seasoned), ribs (perfect and delicious), and sausage. One of the reasons I’m not a big bbq fan is bc the sides are usually not great. But this place knocked it out off the park! Best potato salad and baked beans from any restaurant, anywhere! Oh, and the bbq sauce is crave-worthy! Great job Billy Sims team! Yum!
