This place has good food at a good price. There’s virtually nobody in the dining room at lunch time, which might be due to the fact that the store mainly does takeout orders. But it was nice and quiet, and my chicken gyro wrap was really tasty. The chicken is seasoned with pepper, which gives it lots of flavor and gives it a red color, and is topped with delicious sauce. For three people, the total was about $27-$30, which was about $9-$10 and some change per person. I would get the chicken platter next time though for easier eating, I felt bad when a few pieces of food fell on the floor when I was eating the gyro (I cleaned it all up though). Overall, this is a great spot for lunch, and a great place for halal.

UPDATE: since posting my initial review below, we decided to give it another try. I made a note to put the sauce ONLY on the side, not on top, and it worked. I got the chicken gyro platter and was much happier this time around! The food was not soaked in white sauce and the meat was very tender. I would say it is worth giving them another try – just be clear in the comment box if you don’t want sauce on top of the food.

The best thing to order here is hotspot platter – we ordered chicken and another one called potato hotpot – was just awesome. We polished them off. Very flavourful. Not spicy at all. If you want it more spicy you can get hot sauce on the side. The chicken was well cooked and chopped into tiny pieces, falafel was chopped up and cooked with French fries and a curry powder – topped with yogurt and green coriander based chutneys. The rice itself was very flavourful which formed the bed of this yummy dish. Will come again. French fries and curly fries were normal.

Not good first time there and I ordered 2 chicken and waffles, gyro, chicken tikka. My chicken and waffle order comes with 2 pieces of chicken and waffles. Instead the shady cooks placed in the box 3 pieces of chicken. I’m pretty sure this was no mistake but purposely done. They only give you half of a waffle which does not make sense and they are obviously very cheap. Chicken tikka needs improvement. Better off with halal guys you will get better tasting food and good portions. The mango lassi is too thick and it’s obvious they used too much yogurt. Also I get the feeling these people don’t care about customer perceptions. Chairs on the tables when you walk in which is not inviting.

Feeling really hungry, we stopped off here for quick bite. the cashier behind the counter was really friendly and we got ourselves a burger and some fries. Food was delicious and we really enjoyed the fries as well. i think they could use more spice on them but thats just my preference.

This would be a lot better if it didn’t taste like curry/biryani when I didn’t order curry/biryani. Got a platter, expecting it to taste as seasoned lamb & chicken, first bite I take and it’s as if I ordered a curry dish. Idk if it’s the rice that’s just seasoned like that, or if they reuse the utensils in the back without cleaning it. If you’re using the same utensils for the curry dishes & the platters/gyro, rinse it since those are supposed to be two different tastes. I wish I just got a curry dish instead of being surprised by it. Portion is very good however. This does not taste like a halal platter at all, so disappointing. If you want Indian food this is a good place to go, if you want a halal platter, don’t bother

The Fyre fest of food spots. I went here on behalf of a recommendation of a friend for a quick bite. First impressions when you get to the place it’s basically a gutted out Subway restaurant with little to no effort, same tables, chairs basically everything besides logo. That’s not a negative just stating a fact.

I was going to try this place out but as I sat in the parking lot waiting for yall to open, I saw employees taking hotel pans filled with food out of a random SUV. The employees walked right in to the restaurant with the pans.. That’s when I expeditiously backed out of the lot and dissapeared down the road. Yall be careful.
