Traveled here based on Google suggestion for a family dinner. When we arrived there was no one to seat anyone. I wondered if I was in the right place as I looked through the crowd to find anyone who might work here. Eventually I was able to make my way to the bar to inquire about seating and the bartender said yeah we could be seated but the kitchen is closing soon to hurry up. Hurry up?? That’s not the kind of place I’m looking to eat at with my family. With more than an hour before closing to make the guests feel rushed to order food.

Maybe I was too brown for this place. Oh well, lesson learned. If your brown or Hispanic-looking try your luck elsewhere. You won’t have your order taken at all- they’ll look at you and pass you by (the whole family plus the staff!). Apparently the people at the bar and others are more important. That’s fine though. I will spend my $$ somewhere else. I should have known how it would end up just by the stares as I walked into the place. Thanks for the reminder of what prejudice looks like. And don’t go defending by saying it was busy- it wasn’t. 1- star because we actually got served a soda after a half an hour of sitting around. What really upsets me is that my teenage daughter had to experience this as well.

Went with a friend this past Friday night to have a quick drink and a snack after the beach. Food was not good. Service was even worse. I realize service everywhere is not good these days, but come on. stop making excuses for just bad service and attitudes.. Music was awesome though so for that they get a star! Next time I will go to the Beach Plum a little way down the road.

Stumbled upon this gem on my first day of vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Had the fish tacos…..perfection. And the bartender, Melissa made me a mean Margarita! Going back tonight…cause it’s that good!

Waitress was rude, burger was overcooked, and my drink was spilled right in front of me – the staff just laughed and no one cleaned it up.. customers actually had to walk over the spilled ice to enter the restaurant. I was pretty surprised.

Drinks are strong. Food is good. Lots of locals. Nice to sit outside. Service can be a bit slow or hit or miss, but everyone has been super nice. So can’t complain! Will go back seeing we now live steps from there!!

Went there July 18th we sat down at a table. We sat there for more than half an hour. The waiter did not even knowledge we were even there. The Waiter seem like he didn’t even want to be there.He Finally came over. Grab our order. He never came back to see if we wanted another beer. Sat there with empty cups for about 45 minutes. He came over with the check. We paid the check and left. It was our first time there and probably our last.

We enjoyed the sea breeze sitting outside while enjoying hot chowder, which was thick and delicious. Coconut shrimp were perfect, crunchy and came with a sweet dipping sauce much like coconut milk and maple syrup. Then finished off with what was probably the best bloody Mary I’ve had in a long time! Great service as well!

I was introduced to Mel & John, they play every Wednesday. The customers group demand rock songs from the 60’s – 80’s era. But Mel sang beautifully with Adele – “Set Fire to the Rain” and Meghan Trainer – “It’s All About The Bass”. They both are amazing with acoustic, electric, and bass guitars. Larry was great with the harmonica. Not sure if he is a customer or part of the band??
