Great ocean/beach views/vibes. Good drinks. Decent food and nice service makes this worth the visit. If anything, for the views alone with the rooftop bar and tables overlooking Jax Beach and pier, it’s a great time. We ordered nachos, fish tacos, and the seafood platter along with a few drinks. The food was pretty good specially the mac and cheese, and drinks were tasty and strong. I would go back but mostly for the views. Parking can be an issue but street parking can be found and they offer valet for a 12$ price tag. Overall we enjoyed our experience but nothing out of this world.

While the location of this restaurant cannot be beaten, it seems to cater more towards the drinking crowd than to foodies. The atmosphere is lively and fun, but unfortunately, the food is a bit of a letdown. The menu offers a limited selection of dishes, and what’s worse is that the food seems to be frozen and not very palatable. The lack of attention to the quality of the food is disappointing, especially given the high prices. However, the saving grace of this restaurant is undoubtedly the incredible view of the ocean. If you’re looking for a place to grab a drink and enjoy the scenery, this is the place to be. Just don’t expect the food to be anything to write home about.

Sometimes, you don’t get a good server, and they automatically put the tip on the bill, not something for the server to decide what kind of tip they get, but if you go try getting one of the guy servers they do a good job. All in all, it’s a cool place to hang out with family and friends, that’s on the beach. It looks cool at night, but my favorite part is the view from upstairs on the balcony with Jax Pier. It’s just so pretty at sunset.

Terrible service and food/drinks. Staff was lazy, did not follow up on anything. Sat at the upstairs bar and wanted to move to one of the six beach front tables just a few feet off the bar overlooking the ocean. Table was dirty and “Charlie” was supposed to come and clean it. That never happened until I had to find him. We sat at the table for about 10 minutes before going to the bar to ask for a server ( Bartender was “Tanner”)…he said it is self serve ( must come to the bar to order food and drinks. I could have been sitting there for an hour….they don’t care). Fish tacos came out….no plates, silverware or napkins. See my photo of my makeshift napkin that I used as a plate. Of course, no service or anyone asking how things are going. Asked the person who brought out the food for utensils..he said sure…..but never came back. I found some plastic utensils in a Corona bucket at the inside bar. We just ate as best we could. Drinks were mediocre. Looked for a manager upstairs and downstairs…clearly just teenagers staffing the place. Not many customers on a Saturday night….now I understand why.

We went here many times in the couple days we stayed at Margaritaville. The food and service was all decent, no complaints at all. The beach chips are amazing, shrimp, burger and everything we ordered was all hot, tasty, and decent. Even the take out or to go order was good. Drinks were tasty and surprisingly not crazy expensive. I expected twice the price, so we were happy. Atmosphere is relaxed and cool, great views, and the bartenders all seemed pretty decent. The outside patio by the pool with TV’s, fireplace, etc is neat and right by the beach. I’m sure we will return someday!!!

Waitress hannah (with the piercings) was amazing! She was so nice and attentive, and her drink suggestion was YUM, food was delicious, drinks were perfect and view was beautiful. Will definitely be going back here.

Pros and Cons
So this is my second time at this location. I was served my Megan F and she was punctual detailed and very proficient. The signature burger was amazing however the fish and chips and loaded nachos left a little to be desired according to my dinning companions. However I have the had the fish n chips and it was wonderful to me. So to each his own. Go for the service and stay for the food and beer !! Special thanks to Tre R for the recommendation!!
