As long-term summer residents, Susan and I value Maucieri’s as among the best of the two counties and we love to take friends there. The food and service yesterday evening were excellent as always, but the experience was almost spoiled by the half dozen shouting drunks at the next table.

Ordered 5 meals TO GO on Mother’s Day. Our mom (a vegetarian) ordered a pasta without meat. The employee even labeled the box “meatless” but when she opened it, there was huge chunks of meat in her pasta. There was also meat in our kids cheese ravioli. Ruined our whole Mother’s Day picnic. I have seen managers DRIVE the order to the customer when mistakes like that are made but they didn’t offer that or figure out how to give our money back. Family time ruined on Mother’s Day and management did nothing to help. Sucks when you tip 15% on a large Togo order and then didn’t get the right food or option to FIX the problem. Check your to go boxes before you tip!!!

Sadly this isn’t a great meal for any one wanting Alfredo… no flavor. The service is what was really lacking… 45 min and finally got bread… understaffed is what I think was the problem but overall it just wasn’t good. Really hate leaving a bad review but it is necessary.

I was impressed by the food and the friendly staff; ate with a group so I had the opportunity to sample several dishes and all we very tasty. Some dishes were pleasantly spicy which was a welcome surprise for northern Minnesota. Would recommend.

Awesome! Very cute family owned buissiness. Food was delicious. We had the regu rigatoni and stuffed shells. It was delicious. We also shared the best cheesecake we have ever tasted. Will definitely go back sometime!
