Very nice restaurant. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was inviting. Service was slow, I had to ask two times for my drink to be refilled. They also did not do good quality control on the bread as several of the rolls were burnt black. Still high marks overall. The Mushroom Ravioli was delicious!

Dora’s is a great classy Italian restaurant. We sat outside on the huge outdoor patio on a nice summer evening. Bonus – the entire patio is in the shade which kept it nice and cool on a warm day.

Let me start off with the good before the bad… there is a nice outdoor dining area. The wait staff was very polite but not very friendly unless you were a local or frequent customer, I noticed. Ok, let’s just dive, right into this… the place is very outdated with a terrible oder of mold as we were seated right under a water damaged ceiling with a rusty loose tile showing signs of crude, you can not seat inside the dining area for too long before you can feel your throat get Irritated from.the smell. The food was soso as it’s not true Italian food from any regions in Italy, just a few made up Italian dishes. Meatballs stated pork n beef more like beef kind of on the school lunch spectrum, the bolognese was made with thick long egg noodles which gave the meat sauce a non Italian taste as the egg noodles over took the taste away from the star of the dish the meat sauce, we also got dora ravioli which we were not sure what the flavor of inside was. Bread was givin’ with a spinach n parsley oily spread… The dessert was a bit pricey at almost $12.each The desserts looked good, but my dessert was crumbling with every fork filled as the bottom part of the cake was dry.

Ugh. Food is great but portions are small. The salmon looked like a kids portion. Worst part is the servers are so bad and SO rude and could care less. They ran out of bread at 7PM on a Friday night. Took 2 hours to get our food. They didn’t care, never checked on us and then charged an extra $25.00 because we used credit cards. We live in Clinton and I’m done. Never again. Have given them so many chances. Don’t even consider this place if you are looking to dine out.

Rarely do I have an excellent experience from service to the food and location atmosphere. After our first and recent visit, Dora’s was absolutely perfect in all of the above. The service is excellent and staff really caters to make sure everything is perfect as well as were really helpful in several of our order decisions. The atmosphere is quaint and the location is a good size and perfect for a couples night out or a large group gathering. The food is fantastic! My wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the chicken Parmesan. Everything was very tasteful and cooked perfectly. We topped off the dinner with cannolis which are excellent! Overall, we are very happy to have visited this absolutely perfect restaurant and we can’t wait to revisit very soon! I highly recommend it!

This place was recommended by a family friend so we tried it for mother’s day. I usually don’t like to give negative review because I support local businesses but this place deserves it. We made a reservation and seated outside we waited patiently for 2 hours the service was horrible we literally have to ask for water, bread, etc. They hardly attend to our table. I never believe in racial discrimination until today just because we are Asian. We are paying customers we didn’t go there to get free meals as stated to our waiter the experience was just terrible, such bad customer service. Do not support this place. Sadly, we drove 35 mins to this place hoping for a nice mothers Day celebration. I guess skin color matters. In the end, we paid for our appetizers and walked away.

Good food and location, near the river. I was surprised that they do not offer pizza since they are an italian restaurant. Regardless, the food was good but I can’t say that it was so good to warrant the high prices. I would recommend the lemoncello dessert.
