At our Memphis, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

So we ordered fried pickles and after we paid the ride lady snapped at us that they did have any fried pickles. That’s why it was cheaper then what we said . it’s like damn you could have said that when we ordered or when we got to window. It’s just the most disrespectful way to do it just not say anything

Food is always good. My fried okra was only warm this time,perhaps because my food was taken back. I was given slaw instead of greenbeans. The drive through can be very slow, as with every business in that strip. I wasn’t there to long on this trip.

I literally sat at the speaker for 10 -15 minutes until i decided to pull around to the window.. once i got to the window three girls were in there laughing having fun and not doing their job… i asked were they still taking orders she said yea she didnt hear me at the speaker tf.. another truck was in front of me first and pulled off because they were taking too long

It’s sad that you can work just as hard as these fast food employees do but when you get off from your job you can’t get them do their job that they’re still on shift for. You know something is unfresh when they hand your food off within 7 mins of being in the drive thru. Captain D’s never is that fast but if you have to wait you know it’s cooked fresh to order. The fish sandwich was cold along with the fries. If its not teenagers working the late night then you grown folks should be ashamed for lacking work ethic skills because “you’re tired and ready to go.” Do your job and serve your customers who help pay your bills with fresh food served in an acceptable time frame. I’m getting sick of “y’all.” After reading the reviews and seeing the lack of concern the owners will show with that automated response don’t worry about it. I’ll get my money back plus more but I won’t be spending it there.
