My husband and I had the most amazing food today. We had whiting, stuffed salmon, asparagus, yams, cabbage, and mac. Yes, we had Thanksgiving in June . Everything was flavored to perfection. The price was right and the food was made fresh to order. The vibe was a vibe, the customer service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. So if you are looking for some good soul food in Ewing, look no further. Trust and believe they have you covered.

Came here with my husband and another couple on a Saturday night. Due to the impending storm, it wasn’t crowded but we saw several people come for pickup. The service was very friendly, the appetizers came out quickly and the food was delicious! The portions were quite large so most of us had plenty to bring home as well. Great value and loved supporting this beautiful black owned small business.The four of us had a great time and only left because the restaurant closed at 9. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for those who enjoy soul food.

The stuffed salmon was delicious. Worth every penny and time waited. It was fresh flavorful and paired with 2 sides of your choice. I had Mac and cheese green beans with additional side of yams. It’s definitely a gem in Ewing. The decor was nice for dine in with a nice sapphire blue touch . Stop by! You won’t regret it.

This spot in Ewing, NJ serves very good “home cooked “ food . I stopped in during the week for dinner. I ordered salmon and shrimp . The salmon was seasoned perfectly and most importantly not over cooked! It just right. I ordered double cabbage as my sides which was ok but cooked with more sweetener /sugar than I would have liked. The staff was friendly as were the owners who were also present. I would definitely go back.

The food was greasy and salty. I’ve never seen so much oil on grilled salmon before. The Mac and cheese was overly seasoned. The corn bread was okay and garlic parmesan wings were okay just needed to be placed in the air fryer. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place as an authentic soul food restaurant. I will not order from here again.

The place looks beautiful and the bathroom was clean . I call ahead an order whole chicken wings , when I got my order it was a whole chicken pieces ( breast , thigh, leg and wing ) I was disappointed but it is what it is . So they explain to me that the sell wings dings so they do not sell whole chicken wings. The owner apologize for the inconvenience which was nice . The chicken and candy yams was , but the cabbage and Mac N cheese wasn’t that great . Maybe I might try different sides , Idntk . Support Small Business

If I could give this place a 10 I would. My Gods!! This is some of the best food I’ve ever had period let alone in this area. If you aren’t eating here you are missing out. My first impression of staff is warm welcoming and friendly. I ordered the bbq Lovell wings , beef meat loaf, navy beans and Mac and cheese. Do yourself a favor check them out make the call and make your taste buds and belly happy!
