Wanted to change up our ordinary takeout pizza. We usually get local pizzeria but ordering dominos the week before was very underwhelming. That said the kids loved the epic stuff crust with garlic cups and the Oreo cakes were great as well. The wife and I ordered Philly cheesesteak pizza. Love the garlic cups. Hadn’t ordered papa johns in a long time (years). Will be ordering next weekend. Also, the costumer service on the phone was so professional I had to keep reminding myself that it was a real person and not an AI bot.

Don’t get too carried away. This is Papa John’s. It’s a national pizza chain and not your local corner pizza spot. With that being said, it’s pretty good. I ordered online and used a promo code. Ordering was super easy, ready very quickly, and done properly. No problems or complaints here. When Papa John’s is 1/2 to 2/3 the cost of my local pizza spot it’s pretty good and I’ll consider it. When it’s full price I’m going to my favourite local spot.

Absolute nightmare. Ordered food around 9.40pm on a Tuesday night, at 10.45 called the store and the ‘manager’ said they were swamped the last 30 minutes but the ortder was with the driver at that moment and he had 6 deliveries. At 11..10 the order showed as delivered, of course it never arrived and the store was now closed.

The most abysmal customer service in existence. How could a store be any more incompetent? We got this free medium cheese pizza coupon because before, we had two pizzas come an hour late. We live literally less than half a mile away from the store. So I went to the store to redeem this coupon, and was told by cashier that I needed to redeem the coupon online or over the phone. Why is there a cash register then? So I called the store number which just directed me to some call center instead of the store. I told the girl on the phone the code, to which she started getting rude with me because I told her I was already at the store. I told her I just wanted a cheese pizza, and she was trying to upsell me on drinks and whatever. Told me “good for you” that I was at the store and hung up on me. Went back inside, was still told that I can’t use the coupon again. Called the call center again. Was told that the coupon needed to be used on the app instead of on the phone. Why would the cashier tell me to redeem the coupon over the phone if I’m not allowed to? And why can’t I just redeem the coupon while I’m already in the store? Go somewhere that actually takes customer service seriously, this is atrocious.

I/wife visited the Marsh Road location #1322 which is located in Wilmington, DE our experience was bad. We waited 6-7 minutes before even being waited on, the bright spot was one employee name Elwood was both professional and customer service oriented. There were atleast 4 other employees in the back , yet when Elwood asked for assistance from his co-workers, a Caucasian female stated out loud “They’re going to just have to wait”. Elwood attempted to ring up our take-out Order, then the same female finally came to the front to assist him. If I could give anyone in that store 5 stars it’s Mr. Elwood, he should be both thanked and promoted for a job well done. Our take out order was 0072
