A real old style place. It was packed solid for one hour at dinner time (5:30-6:45pm), then after 7pm there were tables available. Very pleasant & patient waitress since this was our first visit. We had a huge Sicilian pizza and a filling 12″ personal pizza. Nice beer selection too. It was tough to find parking for our dinner.

Points for being reasonably priced, good service, and location. Food has potential but elements can be executed better. Ordered a salad with chicken. The salad was a generous size, fresh, but the chicken was cold with soggy breading (it should have been grilled or fried again to give its crispness back. Alfredo was also lacking, seemed like the sauce was microwaved, bland and gritty- for an intalian place this is where it should have shined. Our wait staff was lovely though and pleasant, so can’t falt them for the kitchen and quality.

parking is horrendous!!!! even paid parking was a flat fee of twenty dollars for two hours we werent the only ones turned away by this. the restaurant was hot no ac and very cramped. the service wasn’t great as it to 15 minutes just to get our check. we barely saw our waitress but noticed the other waitress was running laps around our waitress. food was great with more than reasonable prices. the portions were also excellent. a small seemed more like a large. slightly disappointed they were out of root beer but no biggie. i would highly suggested take out if you’re going to eat here.

Came in to eat and the food was outstanding! My wife had the eggplant and I had the lasagna! The meal came with garlic bread that was cooked perfectly! The flavors of the meal were very delicious! Waitress was fantastic! The cooks were great! You want to get great Italian food at reasonable price! Go there and enjoy a small quaint atmosphere! Thanks again for the fantastic meal !

In the area and wanted to try this spot based on reviews and word of mouth. My girlfriend first called at ~8:32 pm and they said they stopped taking orders. I then called and they said “we stopped taking orders as we ran out of some of our pastas and sauce.” I asked what time they usually stopped and they said 9 pm. We decided to drive there. We saw patrons eating. We went inside. They then told us they had closed early as their “awning had broke and their front door wasn’t usable so [they] couldn’t have people walking in and out. However, we were able to use the side door. So which reason was it? We got three different ones! To be fair, the awning was broken but then why not just say on the phone that there was an issue and they had to close early? Why be unfriendly and say you ran out of types of pasta and sauce? Poor customer service which seems to match some of the other reviews on here.

Delicious, classic pizza. I’m picky about my crusts and this definitely passes my standards with flying colors. Any pizza they make here is delicious and you really can’t go wrong. They’re so friendly and know how to make a good pizza.

I came in Saturday with my buddy. Our server was a younger guy, probably the son of the owners due to his knowledge and passion. Gave us some great recommendations and was quick and honest. It was my first time and I’m glad we stopped. Food was delicious. I rarely tend to stay away from Burlington and Winooski but papa franks was worth the visit. I hope that server we had makes good money and and stays happy. Passion and happiness in the restaurant business is so rare. Thanks for having us!

Just had Papa Frank’s for the first time. Being Italian myself, this was excellent and authentic spaghetti with meat sauce! Food was still HOT when I got home. Also ordered a mini cannoli as well, best I’ve ever had! The aluminum take out plate was STUFFED, so the prices were surprisingly low for the amount of food you get. I’ll definitely be going back!
